I Purchased a MAC Tools roll around toolbox 2007 from a Mac tools truck in Roswell Ga. It was explained that the box has a lifetime warranty, and that MAC stands by their products. I have a great deal of other Mac tools that I've had no issues in warranting in the past. There has not been a Mac truck at my current job for a number of years, so I ask the ******* tools truck about how to go about replacing my drawer slides. He suggests that I remove the slides and send them in for warranty through MAC website. That is what I did. I called Mac tools on 08/17/2022 inquiring about the slides since I had not received the slides in over 5 months. At first, they told me they could not verify which box even though I sent the serial number with the package. After talking for a while, they sated that the box is out of warranty because it was made overseas and not in the U.S. even though the box carries the MAC name and serial number and I was told that it has a life-time warranty at time of purchase. Then it was explained that the new roll-arounds do have a lifetime warrantee as it was explained to me when I purchased my box back in 2007. I feel, Mac-tools is taken advantage me, wanting me to purchase drawer slides at $55 a set when the slides should be warranted as the new toolboxes are warranted for life. Mac advertises products made in the U.S. then when it comes to warranty Mac-tool states; Oh that tool, No that is made in some other place! so it had only a one-year warrantee. Shame on MAC-Tool.. Stop doping people and take responsibility. I've been a lifelong customer but not as of today. Mac case #********
