On September 19 Lycoming heating arrived to do yearly maintenance on furnace. Just 10 minutes into the service the technician said that the pressure switch was broken. And it needed replaced. He said he would order the part and replace it. We asked him how much it would cost and he proceeded to get on his phone and told us it would be $505 for the service call today and to replace the part. he wanted to know if we wanted to pay today for the service we told him that we would give him a check for the whole amount instead of writing two separate checks. He said that would be OK and that he would return to put the part on. I did not receive a bill at this time assuming he would bring it back with him. Did not hear from Lycoming heating so called back September 21 and 22nd no one was in office left a message. No one called back. called back on the 25th got a new company called ****** home service out of Lebanon PA. They said they were affiliated with Lycoming heating and that they were sorry that the secretary was out of the office on the 21st and 22nd. we told them about our situation, and we were told that the technician that serviced our furnace no longer work for them. So we asked them if the part was ordered and paid for. They said yes it was and they were waiting for it to be delivered. we called almost daily to see where the part was they kept saying its coming or were going to get it, but nothing ever happened. when we called on Monday, October 6, 2023 we got a recording that the business was closed due to Unforeseen circumstances till further notice and to leave a message and they would get back. We have left several messages and no one ever gets back. We had to contract another heating service to get the work done because its getting cold. we now realize we shouldve not paid for the service before we got it. That is something we usually dont do but we have dealt with this company for over 40 years.Initial Complaint

We built our home in 2017/2018 and the contractor hired Lycoming Heating Company to install our HVAC system. We moved in the beginning of March 2018. Within two weeks we had to call Lycoming Heating Company because our AC wasn't working. They came out and said it needed recharged. They have been out at least 5 times per year since then due to this same issue with our unit. We have spent thousands of dollars for them to come out, look at the unit, repair the unit, or undiagnosed the unit. Finally, approximately September 21, 2023 Lycoming Heating Company decided it was time to replace the furnace and outdoor unit. They believed that when they did the installation it was done incorrectly and small particles got into the lines and the units and this was unable to be fixed and full replacement was needed. We have tried calling the last two weeks to get an update on when we would be getting our new furnace and outdoor unit without an answer. We were told the manager would call us back and let us know. We never got that phone call. When we called October 20, 2023 the business's phone message says they are closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Luckily I had ******** personal number when he called in September. We called him and he let us know that all employees got fired Monday 10/16/2023 and the business was shut down. Now we are left with an outdoor unit and furnace that does not work. We are left with no heat besides the fireplace in our house. Thousands of dollars down the drain for this company to not right their wrong!Initial Complaint

On September 15th I paid half down on a new furnace system for my home. Installation is not complete. They started the installation on Wednesday September 20th, I was told that it was a one to two day project. On day three which was Friday September 22nd I was told that they needed an additional part and they would call me on Monday or Tuesday. Two weeks had elapsed when I called them on October 4th, I was told someone would call me back. Another week had gone by and I called again on October 10th. Again no one called me back, my wife then called and spoke with someone and a service technician was sent out. He was at my home for a few hours and stated this is not the boiler you should have gotten. And after hours of him trying to make it work he finally gave up. He said he was going to talk to his boss, and come up with a solution (correct boiler). I asked that I would be contacted by EOB Friday, with any info on a solution. I was not contacted on Friday, I then called twice on Monday, and my wife did as well. We were not given any information on the status of what will be done to correct our issue. I have domestic hot water and but no baseboard heat. The job has taken approximately a month now and we are now trying to heat our house with space heaters. I receive no contact from the company and my wife has asked for the owners information, and was refused. I need some sort of resolution.Initial Complaint

Description of my problem is explained in the attached documentation. I want to talk with someone to get the problem resolved but no one of authority (Manager, Regional Manager, Owner) will contact me. I presented the attached documention to their secretary on 29-Aug-2023, which she signed, and she told me she would forward it to the owner.Initial Complaint
