      BEWARE, ALL APARTMENT SHOPPERS. PROPERGY MANAGEMENT WILL NOT TREAT YOU LIKE A HUMAN Want to move into a filthy apartment that has roaches and stained carpets for an inflated price per month? Then get evicted bc you brought this to their attention and they make the weakest effort to get rid of them due to being incompetent? Perhaps you're looking for an argument about said roaches bc the management team is just trying to justify their mistakes and pathetic "attempts" at taking care of tenants by making you feel like the problem!Look no further! This place will do all of that! Congrats on being the worst rated apartment complex management team in the area with disgustingly high monthly rates! You people should be so ashamed of yourselves. Its truly disturbing how humans can treat others.

      If you happen to come across this review please take my advice and avoid any rental property that is managed by the Metropolitan Management Group. I have been a resident at the Townhomes at ****************** location for 8 years. I am moving out because of my job transfer and although it's nobody's fault I am breaking the lease. I attempted to reason with them to come to some type of agreement and they were not willing to be reasonable so we have to go to court. They do not respond to work order requests and you can surely expect to be charged for items that you submitted work orders for that they did not respond too. You will not get your security deposit back under any circumstances. If you don't believe me just check their complaints on the (BBB) website. We have never been late with our rent and yesterday on Dec 2nd I received a letter on my door while I was at home stating that eviction proceedings will begin on the 5th of Dec. The 20ft Uhaul parked in the driveway should have been a clue for them but keep in mind you are not dealing with rational people here. Beware that after they confiscate your security deposit they will also do a secret inspection where they will charge you for everything in your apartment even items that they failed to address in work orders. Upwards of ******* or more. I have retained an attorney already and, filed a complaint with the *************************** to make them explain these practices in front of a judge. Please beware I would like to help as many people as possible avoid the hassle that will come with renting anything from this company. If the properties are managed by (MMG) do not rent with them you will regret it if you do. In 8 plus years I have seen ***** different property managers and at least 7-10 different maintenance personnel this is no exaggeration. I have lived next too 5-9 different neighbors and not one of them got their security deposit back. If you have not moved in don't and if you have lawyer up.

      My husband and I moved in to a brand new "luxury apartment" community in September of 2023. We have had nothing but issues and red flags from the moment we moved in. We are offered to pay monthly, to rent a reserved parking space to keep from having to park 3 buildings away all due to poor design. In the meantime, other residents in my building have more than the amount of cars allowed and take up the few parking spaces that are left. This has not been addressed by management either. We have had a noise issue from the neighbors above us since we moved in and we have pleaded with the property manager to do something about it and NOTHING has been done. The ceilings are constantly making a crackling noise from them jumping and stomping all hours of the day and NIGHT. Even though the noise goes beyond quiet hours, we are left with no resolution. We lost heat in the winter from a gas leak from our furnace. They could not find the leak and it took them 2 weeks to fix it, all while using a space heater. The trash is horrendous and a major sanitation issue. The trash is consistently overflowing and laying all over the ground for the pests to rummage through and spread around. I have pictures to prove it. The upkeep is terrible. I have spiders and cobwebs in the main common area/entryway. This past winter, the snow removal was minimal. My husband has a physical disability and could not even get to his handicap spot safely. At this point, we are mentally drained and go out as much as we can to avoid the noise. It is daunting. It is currently 10:49pm and I hear nonstop stomping above me as I am typing this. We wrote a letter to the company per the property manager's advice regarding all of our concerns requesting an early lease termination and they refused with a hard NO. We have to pay the remainder of the lease! All we want is to leave to save our sanity but we are stuck. Who can afford to pay double rent these days? They are robbing us blind. This is NOT luxury living.
