    In early October 2023, I hired contractor Lloyd Halloway to perform repairs for a claim through State Farm which included fixing exterior leaks so that he could then do interior repairs. On 11/15/23, I paid Lloyd $500 to start work on the exterior of my home (receipt attached). On December 1, 2023, he informed me he was submitting a supplement to State Farm for additional money for more work that needs to be done. Between that day and today (April 14, 2024) he has come to my house one time on December 13, 2023. On that day, he did a minor patch job on the roof above my leaking bedroom. Since then, I have repeatedly contacted him trying to get him to come back out and either complete the exterior repair work above my bedroom and the attic roof (which was never even started) or put down a tarp to stop additional damage inside my home. He has repeatedly told me he would arrive only to make excuses why he didn't show up or flat out lie about coming out. On Thursday April 11, 2024, he was supposed to be at my house at 9 am only to never show and then completely ignore my attempts at contact. I want a near full refund of money paid as he never completed or even started most of the exterior work that was required. I have attached original payment receipt, State Farm claim, text message log and photos showing the progression of bedroom damage and leaking attic. Sadly, there were some actual phone conversations but they were not recorded. During the second to last phone call from Lloyd he actually told me "*****, I will never lie to you." Well, that turned out to be a lie itself.

    After the original complaint, I had a new contractor come out to perform repairs that Lloyd refused to complete. Attached is a photo they took to show me what my $500 got me. Some black tape and a piece of plastic zip-tied to the leaking vent above my bedroom. Lloyd Halloway is a thief and I want my money back.
