Patient's father insisted the patient had **** insurance and we were not able to locate the id number for the patient. We are not able to collect payment from a patient who has a government plan even if we are not able to locate the id number. The father stated there was an issue with the insurance plan. We did tell him as soon as he got the insurance straightened out, we would have his child seen as soon as possible. It was a very complicated situation and the manager stepped in to help the patient as well.
