    We engaged ***************** for divorce mediation services. *** is not a lawyer. At one point I asked him about my rights concerning an issue. He did not reiterate that he is not a lawyer and advise me to seek legal counsel, but attempted to advise me himself. Then he called a day later and said he was wrong and told me something else. I called an actual lawyer who told me he was wrong on both points. We went through the mediation sessions though and when they were done, he provided a "rough draft" of the agreement. The document was poorly written, poorly formatted, and almost everything in it was incorrect and also contained multiple contradictions. Nowhere near what I would expect from a legal professional even if it was a "rough draft". I sent him my comments on the document but after 10 days, I had no response from him addressing the errors. I realized he is unqualified for this work, told him I wanted to terminate services and requested our money back. What ensued was multiple email threads of back and forth arguing where he denied ever giving me legal advice and lying about paying for court docket numbers (I know he is lying because he can show me no proof of such payments). He gave me an accounting of hours with little detail as to what actual work was done and said he would only refund us $300. He did spend time on our case, but his conduct alone should merit a full refund - $5850.
