I had 36 feet of my driveway replaced. 15 years ago the entire driveway, 82 feet, was removed and replaced in one day. **** wanted to turn it into a one week job. they called and told me the work would be started one Monday 36 and a week later the new asphalt would be put down. I said no this was a one day job but **** could take two. **** call almost a month later and promised the work would be started on Monday and finished on Tuesday assume no rain. I told them if there was rain that the work must be completed the first rainless day. The secretary told me she would check with the supervisor and get back to me but never did so I assume we were on the same page. They showed up as promised on Monday and on Tuesday put down a thin coat of asphalt and left when it started to rain. The rain lasted 10 minutes. On Wednesday the secretary called and said they wouldnt be back for a week. I called the supervisor and told him that I told the secretary that expected them to return on Wednesday, if it rained on Tuesday, as they implied they would do. The supervisor called me an hour later to tell me I never ever had said anything about completing the job in two days. When I reminded him to work was delayed because of my requirement he started yelling and screaming at me. I never raised my voice . I told him I was deducting $100 for every day he didnt finish the job and I hung up on him. He called back 20 minutes later, apologized for yelling then started yelling and screaming again. I hung ip on him again. He called a third time, I told him I couldnt talk because I was in a doctor office buy he did say he would be at my home late in the day to complete the job; I said goodbye and hung up. He then calls and tells my wife that I was yelling and screaming at him and that he was afraid to come but he did come and finish the job. The quality of the work was terrible, he destroyed my homes outside faucet, and left it leaking a lot until I found it the next day.
