  **** from Ace Blacktop knocked on our door on January 9th or 10th of 2024. He reminded us we used him years prior to seal our driveway and wanted to know if we wanted to do the patchwork we pointed out last time because he had "a little left in the tank and didn't want it to go to waste". We went ahead and approved and the patchwork next to the garage was pretty good but he also said he could seal the whole driveway. I questioned if the weather was the right time to do so he said it would be fine (I have my text voicing that concern). He had to come back the next day to finish because it got dark. The second day (1/11) was also a very windy day and he did not take precaution to cover my paver walkway which then got some of the black spray on it and he said if it didn't come off he'd come back in a few months and remove. I reached out 3 times in the last week - 2 texts and a voicemail called into the business asking if he could come back to clean the overspray AND reseal a couple of areas that did NOT take I'm assuming due to the weather it was completed in (I also included several pictures of the concern areas). We stayed off the driveway an extra day or two than the required time so it was not due to that!I have received no calls or texts back and am concerned I threw that money away for a poor service. We spent $600 in total and I know the actual sealing process can be done pretty inexpensively ($200-300) but I wasn't sure what to expect patching wise so I was ok with paying $600 but expected quality work.

  Had a blacktop driveway installed at my house from ace blacktop. Within the first couple months we had some cracking I tried to call and the business seemed to be closed down. I than ran into the owner in my neighborhood when he was quoting other jobs in the area and by then my driveway was coming apart. **** came to my house and looked at it and I was told it was too cold outside to repair it and he would come back and do the repairs in the spring. I never heard from him again. When calling the business phone number I leave messages and never hear back from them. Now my drive way needs to have big sections replaced. Was told by another driveway company that the material he put down was not thick enough and didnt have the right base gravel installed and thats why Im having these issues.
