I called Corrigan's movers cause I am moving to the elms apartments, but when they came to do that they said I had bed bugs and said they wouldn't help me move. I just think they were making excuses not to move me because there was a lot of boxes and furniture?

Hi ******************, in our line of work it is crucial to keep customer information private and respected, without giving too much detail into the matter, our movers are trained to inspect beds and furniture with fabric prior to loading anything onto our trucks. The reason for this is out of respect and courtesy to our valued customers. If our moving men entered your home and refused service due to bed bugs, it is because they saw the obvious signs of these insects. We will not do any move under any circumstance with this type of problem. Not only do our employees not want to risk carrying this problem home with them, but it would not be right to arrive at our next customers home after having this type of hazard on our truck. "A lot of boxes and furniture" would indicate that your move *** take a fair amount of time and since you are charged by the hour in ************ and MA, it wouldnt make sense for our company to turn away a job that we had planned on doing and making money on. Instead, with their best judgement that i agree with, the men made the decision to not do the job, and lose out on extra hours of work and money to protect our company. I apologize for the inconvenience, but its out of respect for our other customers.W. T.
