    Back in August, I communicated with **** ******* of Overcoming PTSD - found on ********. We talked about his program; I agreed to give it a try. Less than 12 hours later, after receiving the materials which accompanied the program, I reached out to **** that this was not for me. We discussed my returning the materials; which I did immediately and cancelling the account. Well as of yesterday, after numerous phone calls, messenger messages, email, visits to their website; countless attempts at their site to close my account to no avail - another $****** was charged!!!!They took another ****** yesterday and now Im overdrawn and am getting no reply or relief from them. I attached our communications in which he, ****, promises to end my account.

    After several attempts to phone; email; texts and visiting their website, I have heard back from no one and am not able to close my account.  Ive asked for confirmation of closure and/or step by step instructions on how to close this account and end subscription.

    I still have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.

    I've asked them multiple times to stop emailing me and they won't. it's not okay. stop abusing my email

    Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

    I tried unsubscribing and they kept sending me messages (I have proof of this with emails and dates etc) soooooo this is completely false. They did not successfully stop sending me emails

    On 7/16/23 I went to the website for this company, linked from a podcast, for a free trial. They asked for my credit card info and said that charges would be applied after 14 days. That is fairly standard with free trials. The website seemed flashy and was a bit concerning, but I thought it was all free (other than the $29.99 shipping and handling for materials they said they will charge) and wanted help, so I tried. Many offers started popping up on the website, which I declined. I felt worried, so I logged into my bank and found two pending charges from this company, one for $76.95 and one for $2,497.00. I checked my e-mail, and they sent a welcome letter with a login (the website claims instant access to all online materials). I clicked the links in the e-mail, one for a welcome introduction and one to open the login page (my.overcomingptsd.com). Neither link worked. I went back to the original website (overcomingptsd.com) and accessed the login page from there. The login sent by e-mail does not work.I then tried to access my account by e-mail to make sure I cancel the subscription. The account access website does work, but there is no option to cancel. I e-mailed the company to ask for a refund in case this is an accident (they have a full money back guarantee listed) but after reading the other complaint on here I am concerned that this is all a scam, and they just start using your card number and charging random amounts as soon as you authorize that initial $29.95.I want to have the charges refunded for me, but I also would like this company looked into as they are promising help to a population of hurting individuals and then taking their money, and something should be done about it.

    The charge of $2,497.00 was for the purchase of an additional program, which was processed correctly as per your request at the time of purchase.

    After you contacted us regarding your concern, we promptly processed a refund for the $2,497.00 charge within 24 hours of the purchase. The refund process was initiated on July 17th, 2023, at 11:41 AM, and you this refund reflected in your account within 3-5 business days.

    Additionally, we have canceled your subscription at the same time as your refund request and ensured that no future charges will occur. Our customer support team has reached out to you via email to ensure that all your concerns are addressed promptly and to provide any further assistance you may need.

    I enrolled for an internet course at overcomingPTSD.com for the treatment of PTSD for a price of $2094 paid by a debit card on 9/6//22. The website offered a 14 day trial period. I watched a a two-hour introductory video and had a 15 min onboarding interview with ************************* on 9/8/22. I decided after the interview on 9/8/22 to withdraw from this program and exercise my right to terminate and requested the return of the $2094. I was told by ************************* that I did not qualify for a refund as I had not proved to them that their programs did not work for me. (Note...it takes long than 14 days to recover from PTSD). The names of the owners are *************************** {***@overcomingptsd.com], *********************** [[email protected]] and ************************* [[email protected]]

    You enrolled in our program on September 6th, 2022, for a price of $2,094. Our program includes an action-based guarantee which states that if participants complete levels 1 and 2 of the program and are not satisfied, they may request a full refund.

    Upon reviewing your case, it appears that your request for a refund was denied because the required steps outlined in our terms of service, which you agreed to upon purchase, were not completed. Specifically, you did not complete the necessary levels or submit any materials to qualify for the refund as per the terms and conditions.
