    **** came to my home to provide a quote to cut trees hanging over my roof. He thoroughly utilized a laser pointer to identify precisely what he would cut, trim or remove, over my roof, in both side yards, the front yard and backyard. He mentioned that he had 54 years experience and knew exactly what would need to be done. He gave me a quote evidently based on his 54 years of experience and explained he would require one day to do the work with three men. I agreed and hired him for $2600.00 to complete all he identified with his laser pointer.July 27th, 2023 **** arrived with 3 men and again walked my yard with his laser pointer, detailing what he would do, asked me to come out at 2pm in case I needed to redirect the workers, since it would be early enough for them to change course or prioritize something that *** not have been completed. I trusted him, as he seemed thorough and clear. At 2pm, I found the front yard halfway done and none of the trees overhanging my home touched. The back and side yards were also not done. I relayed my concerns and the workers let me know there was no way for them to finish the job that day and they would speak to ****. I heard nothing from ****, but did receive a bill for the entire amount of the partially completed work. I called to discuss this. I expressed my disappointment that what was promised was not completed and also that he left me with no communication and a 1/2 completed job. He said there was no real reason why he hadnt contacted me and apologized. He also said he would come by and take a look as he had no idea how my yard was left. He then to leave a 2nd quote in my mailbox, itemizing things that were included in the first quote, this time saying the cost would be an additional $1800. **** underbids and extorts money to complete a job. He also said, "You know how girls are," when my husband reached out to reason with him. He believes women cannot understand a quote. Sexist, predatory, dishonest behavior.
