In the summer of 2023 I went to Cranston Cosmetic Dentistry and was seen by ****************** (dentist) to get a new upper dental partial. I was told many times that she could have a partial made for me that would fit properly, look good and was up to date. After many visits and long waits in between ( the lab of her choice in **********) sent her the partial that from day one did not fit properly. It caused pain in my mouth and numerous return visits to her office. It was sent back to the lab and still wasn't proper. After a short time after receiving it the partial broke. It was sent back again to the lab in ********** and in early August 2024. The day I received it broke again. I have tried many times to have the dentist reverse the claim to our dental insurance (Federal Employee Program -FEP) so I can go to another dentist and have a new partial made. The dentist has refused to do this since Aug 2024. The dentist admitted to me in writing that the lab didn't make the partial correctly. After the partial had broken on two separate occasions I have decided to go to another dentist. All we need is for Cranston Cosmetic Dentistry to reverse the insurance claim so I can have another partial made at another facility and my insurance will be able to pay for the partial . I look forward to having Dr. ******* do the right thing and finally resolve this issue after it has been going on for close to a year and a half.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  The dentist Dr. ****** ******* from Cranston Cosmetic Dentistry is extremely non-responsive.  There has been non-existent follow thru from her. Do to her lack of communication I am unable to have a new dental appliance made at another professional dentist. I am hurt by her lack of compassion and this has affected my life for the last 19 plus months.

These are false allegations by the patient ******* ******.
Office has gone above and beyond in helping this patient get the work done and the quality of work provided was exceptional.
Her denture was made correctly and needed to be sent multiple times to the lab until she was thoroughly happy to accept it. Additionally when a small part of the plastic broke after her wearing the partial for over 10 months, repair was available at no cost to the patient.
We have on numerous occasions repaired her other old partials made by different dentists for free.
Pt refused to sit down and dropped the partial off without discussing the insurance refunds.
Currently the patient owes office money for their copayments and as per the last discussion, they have to pay their balance first before we consider refunding any money.
So far. Based on the reviews from all organizations they have complained to, we are at no fault.
We have letters from ********************* as well as **** of health stating that we have taken all the correct measures to help this patient get the work they needed.
We can provide them if needed.
    Please let us know!
    Thank you.
