    On 8/11/23, I purchased two tickets ($45/ticket) for the following event: Get Down On It. Date of the show was scheduled for 10/06/23. On 9/21/23, I was notified by the venue via email that the show was postponed. I've included a copy of the venue's postponement email for review. To date, I have not received any additional info, and the show has not been rescheduled according to the venue's website. During the last 3 weeks, I've attempted to contact the venue on multiple occasions to request a refund of my tickets. I've left several voice messages and sent several emails. All attempts at contact have failed to generate a response from the Historic Park Theater. At this point, I feel like I'm being ignored and the situation has been very frustrating. I'm hoping the BBB can assist. Thank you.

    I purchased 2 tickets for ************** which the original show got cancelled and is rescheduled for January 20th. For the last 2 weeks i have tried contacting the company thru several ************** calls with no response. Is this company still open? There was talk of financial *************** purchasing the building. Can you please find out if they are still open & if this show is still happening? If not, is there any recourse in getting my money back? Thank you!

    I purchased 2 tickets in June 2023 to go to the Historic Park Theater to see the Modern Gentleman on October 15th 2023 for 4pm. A total of ***** was charged to my credit card. I am friends with the Modern Gentleman on line, so soon after they chatted with me saying that their date there has been canceled due to the theater going into bankrupcy. At that point I contacted the Theater asking for a refund in a check form, due to my credit card had been breached and no longer is in service. It's now 3 months later and I have seen nothing. I have been emailing a lady named ******, her email is ********************** her replies are it's coming soon. I just want my money back in check form asap.

    This venue has repeatedly throughout the summer cancelled and rescheduled shows (some of which still not rescheduled) all the while claiming that they have expensive repairs to make to operate safely. The owner(s) during this time has opened up at least 1 new restaurant while claiming to not have money for repairs! Today there is an article in the ****************** stating that they are 2 years behind on property and sewer taxes to the tune of over $34,000.00. Many ticket purchasers I know are seeking refunds for shows and they are only offering use of tickets at a future date. This is unacceptable especially considering this latest news that the theater may be sold to the ****************. These irresponsible owners have continued operating other establishments and have obviously been hiding the fact that they are near closure of this venue. Their website is still selling tickets while all this is going on. My complaint is simple, we want our money back, they have lied to the community and seem likely to be out of business soon. Please help!

    We bought two tickets totaling $64 to the ******************* tribute show for 6/2/23.When we arrived for the show, we were notified the show was cancelled. I requested a refund and did not receive my money back. We paid for a show that was cancelled by the venue. They took our money, canceled the show but have not returned our money. I want my money back.
