    My family hired Junk King to do an estimate for junk removal on July 30, 2022. Two gentlemen did an estimate walkthrough of our basement and identified items to be removed. I received an email with a written estimate, including the photos of the items to be removed within an hour of the gentlemen leaving. The estimate was for $598 for a half truck. My family contacted the company to accept the estimate and schedule junk removal service for August 5, 2022. On August 5th, I called halfway through our estimated arrival window to inquire about time of arrival. 30 minutes later, I received a call informing me that they would be two hours late, but would call 15 minutes before arrival. When they arrived, one of the three gentlemen that came to the original estimate walkthrough, apologized profusely and offered a $40 discount for the inconvenience and late arrival. In the process of removing a dresser, two of the guys scratched our hardwood flooring in the bedroom and hallway. In fact, my sister commented, "Please don't scratch my mother's floors" as they scraped the dresser across the floor and hallway. We paid the gentlemen $558 for the removal and tipped them each $30.The next day, August 6, 2022, after noticing how deep the scratches were, I contacted the company and was instructed to send an email and pictures detailing the damage. I did so immediately. I then called to confirm receipt of my email. I was told that the message would be forwarded to the owner and I should receive a response that afternoon, or the next business day. No response. I called back August 8, 2022, and I was told another message would be sent to the owner. No response. I called again August 10, 2022. This time the call center employee called the owner while I waited on the other line. She returned to report, "The owner has received your email and the pictures. He will contact you with a resolution." It is now August 15, 2022. My family is still waiting.
