      I hired this pest control company for bed bugs. He convinced me to use them even though I was so nervous. He said I will not be disappointed. I paid him $6,000, almost as much as the heat treatment. The difference, is he said they give a 12 month warranty.. Also, he said he can do any house, if not, he wont take the job. If you decide to hire him, he does not give a 12 month warranty like his website ********, eight months later, I need them to come back. The owner ****** said my contract was voided. I havent seen them since February. There is no reason and any respectable company would get in touch with you if you did something to void the contract. He said he would come back for another $2,750.00, like hes doing me a favor!What residential person (not to mention Im a widow on a very fixed income) pays $9,000 for pest control in a year?I need my money back so I can get the heat treatment. Everyone needs to listen to their instincts.. if I listened to mine, I wouldnt have gotten ripped off.

      To Whom it may concern.

      I'm responding to the malicious review submitted by ************** from Watertowm Mass.We did perform bed bug extermination at a multifamily home owned and partially occupied by ******. She was very distressed when she contacted us which is rather normal in our business as bed bugs can and often do negatively impact emotional state of people experiencing the problem. ******'s situation was magnified by the fact that she has people renting apartments from her. I had numerous conversations with ****** who was very concerned not just about the bed bug situation, which she tried to remedy on her own self treating ( actions clearly prohibited by every single state in ** ) as well as hiring pest control companies who could not resolved the problem. I was very , very patient and generous with my time explaining why her self treatment as well treatment by others did not work and emphasized that we can definitely solve the problem but it will require her cooperation as well as cooperation from her residents as there is no "silver bullet" for bed bugs and proper and safe remediation requires ongoing maintenance by the occupants of the process we put in place.  There was a main visit as well as a follow up visit. The main visit reveled a significant infestation but more importantly almost inanhabitable sanitary condition of most of the building. What we did border lines with a miracle and we left ****** with a set of directions for her to follow up and address before the second visit approx 3 weeks later. ****** and her occupants did NOT follow many of the instructions which are necessary in order to properly eradicate bed bugs. Bed frame(s) were not installed, many monitoring devices were removed, other were full of filth . mattress/box spring encasements were damaged, the furniture set up ( position of the beds we adjusted ) was changed, she/her residents kept using repellent pesticides, making is bed bug extermination not just difficult but impossible. All of this as communicated to ****** be the technician at the time of the visit and then  reinforced by me in my numerous conversations with ****** who simply refuses to accept the responsibility for the extreme negligence. We have NEVER left a customer behind regardless of the situation ( reflected in our reviews ) BUT they must accept the responsibility and compensate us for the retreatment. ****** was presented with an offer to retreat the place which was less than 50% of the initial treatment. NO ONE sane would offer the same and continue with a guarantee ( ours is the longest in the industry). In my opinion ****** simply realized she is incapable of controlling her action and her resident(s) actions and would rather try to smear our reputation and shame us to assume that responsibility for her. That is simply not our job! We have evidence of field reports, pictures of the rooms as we found them and as we left them ( those will give anyone a pause ). To summarize, ******'s manufactured indignity and outcry does not mean she it right . I will not succumb to this tactic. At K&A Pest Control we know how to take steps to protect ourselves. Ample evidence and documentation speaks for itself. I will refrain from crude remarks but must say that being a landlord is not for everyone. Also, we are very , very good at what we do and can fix ANY bed bug problem. At the same time we do not perform miracles... those will require our clients full cooperation.
