I was interesting in purchasing a dog or puppy, Martas cavaliers/ RI cavaliers had an ad listing on Gooddog.com for a purebred 3 month old Cavalier ***********************, with Parents *** and ****. I reached out and inquired, ***** got back to me and said that she was actually 16 months old. I arranged to meet ***** and then to purchase her. When I arrived ti pick ***** up I was provided with only a vaccination record for that morning which was a rabies shot. no AKC papers or medical history. The next week I took ***** to the Vet and learned that she had (in the Vets opinion) had a litter and likely recently. I reached out to ***** and since this time she has denied ***** having a litter, refused to provide with her health records or her AKC certificate. ***** tried to text me a snip of a photo which showed different parents from the ones she had advertised on goodog.com. In addition to my concern for *****'s health and the many many other dogs that were in her home I was lied to and taken advantage of by this business.

As previously stated the dog has never been bred or had a litter. However, given your concern it is possible that she is experiencing a phenomenon called a phantom or false pregnancy. The cause of this is hormonal and usually resolves on it's own, however seeking a second opinion from a different vet can confirm this diagnosis and put your mind at ease. It is also possible that her ******* are enlarged due to hormones after being on heat.
Also I have no control on what GoodDog does on thier website like I tryed explaining to you on what was going on with birthday etc.. and you seemed to understand.
Dog was sold that price due to training and being sold as pet only home, no AKC, also stated on all websites I posted of the dog (pet only home)
You got the dog medical history that I send a photo of and got rabies paperwork.
I also gave you discount on spay cost and never shown proof on the spay
I offered to refund you and bring back the dog, you declined
You refuse to show me any proof
I'm willing to offer another discount when dog gets spayed and shown proof
I have four other dogs that you dont need to be concerned about, they are well taken care of
If you are unhappy with the dog then you are more then welcome to return the dog for a refund, minis the deposit. I have been honest and concise in regards to your concerns and I hope you are able to move forward and enjoy your new pet, she is a beautifully natured dog with a lot of love to give your family.

    FAQ

    Regards,

    *********

I have attached the advertisement that ***** posted listing *** and **** as Daisys parents, it was not until I reached out to ***** and asked for her to provide me with the full health records for ***** so that my vet could properly care for her. The vet let me know that ***** had a litter and most likely recently. ***** denied this and would only provide me with a screen shot of a vet receipt listing vaccinations. ***** has refused to provide me with the entire page listing the name of the animal and the vet that administered the vaccinations. Upon opening the screen shot I was able to read that the parents listed on the document were NOT the parents listed in Martas advertisement nor was this information disclosed to me. Also attached is a page from Martas guarantee that was provided when I picked Daisy up. This clearly states that *** certificates are provided as they must be retuned when a dog is returned to *****. A certificate was not provided to me and despite emailing requesting the full vet record and the *** certificate.  ***** refuses to reply except when your organization got involved. The casual dismissal of falsely advertising this dog, and then refusing to provide me with any documents necessary for her care are not helpful. Furthermore I paid $2700.00 for a purebred dog that had never been pregnant nor had a litter, a dog that has **** and *** for parents. Now I am caring for a very sweet dog that I am unable to confirm her background, with a completely different value than what I was lead to believe I purchased. My vet has ***** on a waiting list for spaying and is needing the records for when ***** has been seen and treated so that she can care for her properly. The surgery will be more expensive for a dog that has had a litter, been pregnant or other health factors that still after a month remain unknown to me. If ***** does not want to provide medical records, or an *** certificate, she can be financially responsible for the surgery to spay *****. In Martas reply she notes that she offered to keep $500 and take the dog back, refunding $2200.  Beside the dirty condition, not even telling me how much to feed ***** or any helpful guidance I would be too nervous  for *****'s well being to send ***** back, my family adores her and wants a fair resolution so that we know A. Her parents, B. Her full medical records care/issues (***** admitted to at least a pregnancy called phantom, which me vet disagreed with given her nipples).C. A fair price adjustment or financial responsibility for her care/spaying if none of the above will be provided.

***** was sold as pet only and you paid pet price, no akc

You vet is wrong and you won't get second opinion, you refuse to send me proof

You looked and signed the contract and knew about no refunds and no deposit refund, but I'm trying to work with you and offer to refund on return of the dog but you declined

I'll mail you her record if you going to keep *****

I already told you about the spay , you'll have to send me the paperwork and I'll refund the spay cost
