    Business Response

    Date: 09/13/2024

    Good Morning

I have already removed the images in question. I believe I did that on Monday (9/9/24) - I was busy with other weddings over the weekend and was not able to do that before then - all of which I told them.

They have been harassing me, sending messages and calling (in some cases) every half hour totaling, on one day, 12 calls and messages. The majority of which were after business hours.

The images I posted of me speaking at their wedding, as well as others posted by their other vendors (photographer & makeup artist)  have been up for more than a year. As we all know, the internet is forever. I have googled and I still see an image, but when you click on it - it doesn't go anywhere... because it has been deleted. I understand and appreciate that her concerns may have changed over the past year, but harassing someone is never acceptable behavior.

Additionally, during our initial meeting I asked if I could set up a tripod and record the ceremony. I was given enthusiastic verbal consent. (The ceremony video from my camera was airdropped to them immediately after the ceremony.) And I followed up by sending our agreement, (dated 6/20/23) which, in addition to guaranteeing my presence and the customizations to their ceremony, states:

    IMAGE USEAGE:

The Couple gives permission and shall allow The Officiant to use any photographs, video or other recording media from any planning sessions, rehearsals and or the ceremony in perpetuity for the purposes of promotion, without compensation.
The Officiant gives permission and shall allow The Couple to use any photographs, videos, or other recording media in which The Officiant is in, or part of, in any manner or for any purpose they wish, in perpetuity without further compensation for The Officiant.

    Thank you,
