      Ben ******************** of Chase Masonry was paid an initial deposit of $7,000. on 1/13/23 and began work on 1/16/23. He requested an additional $3,000. which was paid on 1/27/23 because he needed an advance to "order the pavers" for the patio to begin in March. His crew of two employees, including his father ******* ********************, began work on our house and completed TWO of SIX items on the contract. He patched the front stairs (cost of repairs $2,000.) and worked on the side entry steps repair (cost of repairs $1,000.). This totals $3,000. I have paid a total of $10,000.(see Venmo receipts and documented on the contract that $10,000 was received). I have been trying to contact Ben ******************** for many months and he replied once saying he believes that his employees completed all the work. I have left countless messages and photographs of the brick work that has not been done as well as a copy of the contract. He has completely ignored these attempts and has not returned calls or emails or texts. I would like a refund for the money I paid him for the work that he has not done.
