      In the past two weeks I have connected Flash Car Wash twice via their website to cancel my car wash membership. They even have a special part of the website where you fill out a form to cancel. I have not heard back and now I just got charged again. The only way to cancel is through the website and they are not honoring my request. I have gotten confirmation emails my request has gone though yet I have gotten no communication from the car wash company to honour my request.

      I purchased a brand new Crosstrek from ************* on 8/29/24. ****** owns Flashpoint car washes and consumers are given 60 days of free carwashes. On 9/24 in the afternoon I went through the Carwash and when I parked the car to vacuum it there was a big scratch on my back window. I was mortified and at 1st thought it was a crack. I live right down the street (no manger was on sight, anyway ) and I called the salesperson who sold me the car. Eventually she returned my call as she was on vacation. She texted that she couldnt help with scratches and that maybe the scratches could be buffed out. I went back to the carwash the same day and spoke with a manger named *******. We made an incident report and he was supposed to get back to me in ***** hours.He said he couldnt reach me but my cell records dont show that. I returned to the dealership on October 2nd. Together we watch the video of that day that was basically non-conclusive. On that day they made me aware of an even bigger scratch on my new atop my car. I believe the brushes have caused this. All I want is for Balise/Flashpoint to buff out and fill in these scratches. *** bought 3-4 new cars from them. I am a 70 year old senior woman and this feels unfair. I imagine this happens to others as my incident report is something like 1700. Thanks for your consideration.

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      The problem is not fully resolved.
      My biggest concern is the scratch on the rear window of my brand new car which occurred at flash Carwash is still there. I  just want the scratch fixed. ****** who owns the ******* owns a collision center. I am sure they can do something.

      Date: Wednesday, July 31, 8:52 PM Issue: This is the third time in 30 days that cones have been set up, blocking the entrance to the car wash before your posted closing time of 9 PM. If I arrive at 8:52 PM and you close at 9 PM, I should still be able to access the car wash without obstruction. I have time-stamped dashboard video of this incident and have included a freeze frame here for easy reference.Time Cost: I have already contacted the business with a sincere complaint regarding the nighttime employees actions at this location. My concerns have been ignored.Cost: I have a Diamond membership costing over $40 per month, and I have been a loyal, long-term customer.Desired Resolution: If you wish to change your hours, feel free to do so. However, if you post that you are open until 9 PM, then you should remain open until that time. Given the repeated early closures within a 30-day period, I request a call from a top-level manager. I am reasonable and easy to deal with, but I need to discuss this issue and determine whether I will continue to patronize your location.Potential Escalation: Your location serves many Rhode Islanders, and continued non-compliance with Rhode Island law could lead me to file a complaint with the ************************* I am a cordial, fair-minded, and friendly customer. I tip well and have given praise when due. I am simply asking for appropriate management of the situation for your loyal Diamond level customers.

      I went to Flash Car Wash..Paid 21 dollars for the deluxe wash.After returning home noticed three of the four wheels skins had been damaged by their Car wash system and the license plate was bent in half.was inside during the trip thru the wash and was throw around from the operation of the car wash ramp system.I called Flash and got a recording..called the next day with same result..Went to their web site and registered a complaint on their web site...No response for a week.As the Balise Auto group,s name is on this car wash I called ********************* in ********I was called back within minutes and told to bring it in for them to see.The Manager *************************** looked at it and said he would be back in touch in three days.I arrived home to a call from him informing me He had video of me hitting a curb on the way out of the business and all other damage was done before i used the car wash.This a total fabrication and a attempt by this business to make it go away.I then called *********** and talked to them who informed me they had nothing to do with the car wash and is run with private contractors.He said I should call the main office which is not listed anywhere.This cannot be the first time any of this has happened.the Car wash Machine was seriously out of adjustment or in need of maintenance for this to have happened.The cost of a repair will be over Two hundred dollars or more.

      Mr. Park,

      After review of this incident, we had to conclude that the car wash did not malfunction and cause damage to your vehicle.  We look at video and pictures taken of the rims afterwards.  You can watch video below to see that the rear passenger rim most likely was damaged coming out of the gate area.  We also look at did we have other complaints of damage to vehicles.  We washed several hundred vehicles that day.  We did not have any other complaints of rim damage.  Therefore we conclude the car wash did not malfunction and cause this damage to your rims.

      We do allot for customer service situations as this and would like to offer you a Hand Wax and Super Interior Clean.  While it will not repair your rims it will make the outside and inside look very good otherwise.  Please keep this reply as to proof of the offer.  If you have any question feel free to give me a call at ************.
