    Give an estimate. Paid ****. Received bill for an additional ****. Ask to repair my toilet replaced. Did not want that. They told me I had to spend ****** to get a new heating system. Fixed splits, brought a family member in to work. Only agreed to two employees not three.

    AS stated in the estimate you signed and gave my company access to the home to make all repairs listed in the estimate ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************* the bedroom 325 included only repair to one leak price does not include repair to other leaks if needed price does not include replace devices on boiler if needed. After repairing the leak in the bedroom four other leaks were located and repaired as billed in the invoice for extra work. **** was notified and aggreed to have the work done. 8/25/23: Locate pipe splits with air compressor and repair four split pipes in the living baseboard heat.ther leaks were discovered. 

    Given access to the house once again to locate and repair leaks that were not included in estimate ****. 8/26/23: Locate and repair 8 splits in heat piping and install 5 isolation valves on zones in basement. **** was notified there were extra leaks discovered after trying to pressure test the heating system we were given permission to make the repairs. **** was notified that more leaks were discovered after testing with air and we would have to return Monday to continue on with the work.

    Given access to the house once again to fix leaks in the heating system that were not included in estimate ****. 8/27/23: Locate and repair 5 splits in heat piping. Furnish and install 13' baseboard heat element with necessary pipe and fittings due to numerous splits. Refill system purge and run heat. Cut out broken gate valve and replace with new valve with necessary pipe and fittings. Take combustion analysis found ****ppm co in flu gas turn off boiler and gas to boiler leave note not to run boiler due to co levels too high. Take mechanical permit for repairs to pipe splits.

    House was condemend by the the Town of **************** was probably abandodned after looking for the owner of the property online at tax site **** is not even listed as the owner. 

    Property froze up and anyone who knows anything knows when pipes freeze they break and there is no way we could guess how many splits there were unless we repaired the ones we ************** air testing the system unitl there were no more leaks.

    **** was notified the whole way through everything we were doning and she knows it was extra work.

    The boiler is original to the home and she asked how much would a new boiler be we let her know about the RISE 0 percent interest loan program for 0 interest we estimate it would cost *****. for a new high efficiency comination boiler to be installed with removal of existing boiler and water heater. After finally getting the heating system to hold pressure we were able to start up the boiler it makes too much ** the boiler was turned off and tagged that it was not safe for use. Gas was turned off to the unit. We recomend replace the original **** boiler.

     

    Been in bussines since **** first time I ever had to do this with the bbb been a member of bbb for sometime also. 

    Would also like to mention that **** never called me to discuss this.

This is a notice that the undersigned and any other persons who provide labor and material for the improvement under contract with the undersigned may file a mechanics lien upon the land in the event of non payment to them. It is your responsibility to assure yourself that those persons undercontract with the undersigned receive payment for their work performed and materials furnished for the construction, erection, alteration or repair upon the land.

    Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

     

    I asked them to give me an estimate, the estimate indicated they would follow through with what was on the estimate.  They came to the house , broke a tile.  He said I had to have a new toilet, but the toilet was working fine.  This is where I became concerned.  They went into the bathroom to put in a new system (toilet and heating).  Then he said there were 7 splits that needed repair at $100/each.  He brought in more and more guys to do the work.  I'm in and out.  The only thing I was under the impression I had to pay were the splits @150 each.  I was floored when the total came to over $2500.  I get overwhelmed.  I still have no heat, I can go online and get a new boiler for $4000 not $11000.  I don't know if he's telling me the truth or taking advantage of me.. 
    I would like to be billed for 7 splits @$150.00/each.
    I'm willing to sit down and figure this out.  I'm still without heat.  I'm questioning the purging of gasses, and his integrity and billing systems.  Where is the discount for the dishwasher, why did I have to have a new toilet put in?

    I still need heat, the problem is not resolved.
