      Gem saved the day! We had a terrible experience with another company and went without AC for weeks - Gem was a pleasure to work with - their professionalism, knowledge and genuine concern for our comfort and customer service was greatly appreciated! Highly recommend!!

      Fleecing the elderly. They charged My 91 year old mother $500 for a thermostat you can easily find online for $50 to $80. Said they would call back with a resolution but never did. Already contacted the ****

      This is company who scams customers. They charge an unauthorized monthly fee. The technician did absolutely no work and charged an exorbitant amount of money. I had to hire another company who showed us that no work had been performed on the heating system. When I tried to contact them, the phone is no longer in service. ******** company who scams customers, especially elderly customers. Next step is to contact the attorney general and report their illegal business practices.

      This company is HORRIBLE!!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!! I scheduled a yearly maintenance for my ac and the heating was performed. Sold a membership to my husband that was never explained and stated that I would in an email never did!!! Called back to get the run around, called again until I got this *** that was extremely "you can tell me I am an expert you don't have to talk to a manager/sup, stated raising her voice so I started to raise my voice until she got mad that I was not addressing my issue with her processed to call the manager, spoke to a manager who assured me that it would be he taking care of this and yes misinformation. 3 weeks later still nothing. This is NOT a reliable quickly charged my cc ****** but to resolve issues forget it!!!!! This is not customer service!!!!! Train your people better!!!!!!

      I scheduled a yearly maintenance for my ac. I was under the impression the purpose was for yearly inspection *** preventative maintenance. Including the service fee I was charged ******. Except for quotes and information on how I could spend more money I only received a ***** filter. It was found my outdoor until had dirty coils, which by the wat they dont clean during the yearly maintenance. I guess my issue is I am not sure what i actually paid ****** for. Of prices have increased that is one thing but i suggest the customer atleast feels they got somthing out of the service. I would suggest the company look into changing what they do or do not do during this so called yearly preventative maintenance. Just to add my service tech was very kind and understanding so this review has nothing to do with the actual technician.

      Hi ****, we reviewed our records and GEM's technician performed a very thorough inspection of all components within the system. The technician was onsite for nearly two hours performing maintenance.  The technician provided multiple estimates for findings during his maintenance. A coil cleaning is in addition to the maintenance as this requires chemicals and additional labor to perform. If we could upload our maintenance report i would but the BBB system does not allow for it. On another note, we appreciate you giving the tech a shout out in regards to his professionalism.  Sincerely, ********

      I booked an appointment for an electrician to come out to my house on a Saturday. The day before, GEM called me and told me that that there were no technicians available, and asked to reschedule. I rescheduled for the following Saturday. I waited from 8am to 12pm and no one showed up. When I called, I was told they were over booked and too busy, and asked me to reschedule. I will never use GEM again!

      I will never use this company again. I called because my main sewer line was clogged. $1,000 later, I was told by they had to use a pressure hose the line to un-jam it. Three days later, they return to use the pressure hose and another over $1000 charge, they claimed to have cleaned up the problem, but they had not because they did not clean the area were the *** connection came in to the sewer line, that is were the washing machine line came in. I had pointed out the line for the washer to show were the water and sewage had backed up. These people were not plumbers, they were technicians. I called a master plumber, and he fixed the problem and explained that the pipe where the washing machine discharged should have been cleaned by them as well. They were also trying up sell me to replace the entire sewer line or line it. I would not give them any stars, but the program require a star.

      I contracted with GEM for a replacement heating / AC system. They were timely, clean and professional with that replacement. However, when they were onsite, they observed that I had a leaking pipe. They offered to fix that leak while they were there, for an extra fee. I agreed.They made that fix and I paid them for their time/materials. The next day, while still installing the replacement system, they observed that same pipe leaking and performed another fix (no charge).One week later, after the **** job was complete, my irrigation vendor was at my house to close the sprinklers for the winter. Turns out, the pipe that Gem fixed was the irrigation access pipe and their fix moved the irrigation access point from the outside of my house to the inside of my house.... thereby making it impossible to shut off the pipes for the winter.I've subsequently had to pay my irrigation company to fix the same plumbing in order to close down the sprinklers. I've made 5 separate calls to GEM over a 2 week period of time to try to get someone to talk to me about this. I've not once been able to reach anyone who can help me and/or there are been no return calls.Meanwhile, the automated text messages and emails from GEM requesting a review of the **** service are relentless!!!

      I do not recommend this business!Be cautious with their online system. They claim their website provides information about their fees, but it doesnt. I was unexpectedly charged $99 for a quote, which they said included a dispatch fee. If youre just seeking a service quote, be aware of potential hidden ********* of luck!
