    On May 28, 2023, I visited Spa Light for their daily admission to the spa services and a 60 minute massage at 3:15pm with a massage therapist named ***** who was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I was inappropriately touched by this man and am concerned that he is not a licensed professional who is still employed at this business.The business has refunded me, but is defending this man because of his years of experience. However, they are not willing to provide his license or credentials as a professional massage therapist. They also will not provide his full name to be able to find his license number and status with the ************ ********** of *******

    Hi ***********************,

    We've well received your complaint regarding the incident at the Spa.

    First of all, we have no proof that the therapist massaged only your **** for 30 minutes. We've talked with the therapist internally several times and he confirmed that he did not do such thing.

    Due to your complain, we've had several arguments with the massage therapist so we've decided to let him go.

     

    Question we have is, if you were uncomfortable with the service and wanted to report an issue and receive refund, why wasn't this stated while you were leaving the Spa? From the footage we've seen from the cameras we have at the Spa, we've noticed you having conversation with your friend and grabbing candies while checking out.

    We have cameras all over the spa except the bathhouse and the therapists room for safety reasons. We've seen that you've received the full 1 hour service and left the spa with your friend without any complaints.

    There are complaints that the service wasn't worth it, but this is our first time receiving a complaint and report that the therapists touched our client inappropriately. If the service was not satisfied to their needs, clients usually stop the service and come up to the front to complain that the service wasn't satisfying.

    Also, you've mentioned that we are defending the therapists, but the email that we've sent you is just an update and conversation we had with the therapist. We're quiet unsure how that is defending and covering him.
