    ****** was supposed to come to the home and move my tenants belongings from a 900sq foot apartment which included 2 twin mattresses and a queen size bed. When he came to the apartment today he said he would have to charge an additional $500+ to move all of her belongings. He contacted other moving companies to find out what they would quote while he was in my presence. I told him I also contacted other moving companies who asked for my email and would have emailed me a contract to be signed prior to coming. This was not the case with ******. Nor did he have my tenant sign a contract. I asked him to refund the $250 that was given to him upfront since we would no longer be using his services since he refused to adhere to our initial agreement. He took a phone call and went back to his moving truck. When I tried to approach him he said he would speak with me in a moment. Then he proceeded to drive off! When he left I called him and asked why he left? He said because we cannot come to an agreement. I said, then I would like to be refunded the $250 that was paid up front since there was no contract signed and nothing has been moved. He told me No, that will not be happening. It was a verbal agreement. I said to him, it was also a verbal agreement that would move all of her belongings as well which you declined to do so.

    The agreement we had was that I would transport 3 mattresses from point a to point b. When I arrived at point a, the apartment was in shambles, nothing packed,  nothing organized. The apartment was in such bad shape,  there were flies and bad smells that could not be ignored.  Unfortunately, this customer tried to pull the wool over my eyes and scam me.  Her $225 was a non refundable deposit, which is noted on my business page,  for reasons like this.
