I donated my car, and Advanced Remarketing Services made the process fast, easy, and followed up with excellent customer service.

So far so good. Once we located title process went smoothly from initial contact to car pick up. DMV is another story... If things go wrong on the donation end I will probably check back in as reputation and ability to choose my donation charity was my reason for using this service. I live in *********, YMMV.

Terrible service. I will not recommend them to anyone. After 7 months they still have not completed the donation process. They claim the title got lost. After phone calls & emails nothing has been accomplished.A scam. It puts a bad name on Habitat for Humanity which is a shame.

I afraid this is all a scam unfortunately. Wanted to do something nice for Habitat for Humanity. Gave over my title, then told I had to get power of attorney to sign over again because I live in ****** (it's been registered in HI for two years, so I don't know why they can't use my current registration and why a CA title matters), they (ARS) keep saying I signed in the wrong spot. I repeat the process AGAIN, and now they are asking for ME to apply for a registration. NO! They call me at random times, email me from personal gmail accounts, I can never talk to the same person twice for some reason. I signed over my title 3 times now. I want my car AND title back. Scammers! I refuse to have a registration in my name when I have zero clue where my car or title is.

ARS has never completed the title transfer. I am now receiving citations for the donated vehicle. Remove your plates before donating a vehicle. I will be complaining to MPR about the service as well. Taking the vehicle to a junk yard would have been safer.

Hello,It is never our intention to be the cause of any frustration or disappointment for our donors. In the rare case an issue does occur after the donation process is completed, we have staff assigned to work on that issue until it is resolved. It is my understanding that the issue you experienced, as frustrating as it was, was taken care of in an expedient manner, and our representative did provide regular updates as to the status of the resolution to this situation. The parking ticket that was attached to your name was paid for, and it was confirmed that there were no other outstanding tickets in your name. Proof of new registration was also provided so as to allay any fears that future infractions might occur. We did look into the delay in transfer. During this process it was discovered that the person who purchased your vehicle from our licensed dealer was a new resident to ********************* required that this person maintain residency in ** before they would issue the new registration. This process took approximately one month. Once the new owner was able to prove he was a resident the registration was filed and title transfer paperwork was issued.Issues like this are few and far between, but negative reviews do affect our charity partners' donations. We have worked successfully with the ********************* Car Talk Vehicle Donation Program for more than a decade and we have countless satisfied donors. We do everything we can to make sure that each donors experience is a great one. We sincerely apologize for this occurrence.

We donated our E class ******** to Habitat for Humanity. The experience was mixed with the driver showing up unannounced at dinnertime (supposed to call ahead), lights flashing, embarrassing commotion in a quiet neighborhood, and then LOST our title! HOWEVER, ******* of *** emailed us frequently to lead us out of the nightmare, contacting the driver, locating the title, and closing the deal. I was on verge of promising myself never to donate again, when she saved the day. She was the best. Can't say enough good things about *******, the *** representative. Thank you.
