On 8/27/2024 I received a "notification of delinquent payment for parking violation #********" via US postal mail. The date of violation is Monday 7/29/2024 @ 12:02:24 @ ************************************. Amount $63.00.The problem is I have never been to this location and was parked in private lot at my place of employment, which has key card access.I own multiple vehicles and was driving a completely different vehicle at the time of the violation was recorded. Vehicle ***** was safely parked at home. There are no other drivers of this vehicle.It was impossible for my vehicle to be at this location. I have contacted my local ******************* police regarding this matter.I strongly believe the complaining party may be looking for a commercial vehicle utilizing the same registration number as my private vehicle plate (antique).Business Response

The issue is I am not nor have ever been the ****** in question . The company has miss identified the actual parked vehicle and needs to correct their error. And cease and desist all further actions against me.

I paid $30 for parking and attendant said hed destroy the ticket they issued. They did not and are saying I owe them for parking. I called numerous times and left messages, no one answers or calls back. They say you can go on website to dispute it and you go on there and it says you cannot dispute it. This was paid and I have proof. Im not paying them twice. Horrible scammy company and their license should be revoked.Business Response

I parked my car in ********** on Sunday 7/20/24 in a bank parking lot that was closed for business. The other half of the lot was pay by plate , but the spot I parked in was clearly for the bank and had no associated signs stating it was pay by plate . Every other spot had its own individual sign to pay by plate except the one of 6 that I was in. RI Parking Co. issues me a $63.00 fine on my windshield . I do not disobey parking signage and this said signage was not there and I would like this citation revoked by RI Parking Co.Business Response

I parked at the ****** in ********** on Sunday 6/30/24 around noon. There was a single sign saying pay by plate when you enter the lot. After that, there were no other signs indicating where you should go to pay for your parking. Not where we parked (in the spot), or otherwise. I was gone 40 minutes at most, and I received a citation for non payment. This feels like theyre scamming people by not adequately posting signs of where to pay. I had to then pay $43 in a citation instead of just the amount they charge for parking. They need better signage in the lot where people can park, I am sure I am not the only one who has been scammed by this business.Business Response

On 5/12/24 (Mother's Day). I parked in ****************** where I though I was parking in the restaurant parking lot as I was dropping flowers off for a few minutes stop. I parked and went into the restaurant right around 12:30pm, then came back around 12:40pm and I saw a ticket on my car window. It did not see any signs of paid parking or anything like that nor it said it is a private lot. I assumed that the lot was for customers who paid. If I have known I would have paid for my ***** minute long parking.. However, I received a $63 ticket. This has to be a scam. I went to a show at ****. There was no parking attendant when we came out. I paid the kiosk $22 as indicated with my debit card. Now I get a ticket for $36 stating it will escalate if not paid!Business Response

On 4/4. I paid $22 to park in the lot. There was no employees present or signs saying I couldnt park where I did. There was a sign saying reserved parking. It didnt say reserved only for someone specific. I assumed that it meant reserved for customers who paid. There were other spaces with the same sign. However. I received a $63 ticket. This has to be a scam. I come from a law enforcement family and would never park illegally. I will not park at any of these lots ever againBusiness Response

Date was 1/27/24 at the parking facility across from **** in **********. I entered the facilty and was directed to the top floor to park my car. Fee is $30 for **** performances. There was no attendant to take my cash so i was forced to use the kiosk machine using my credit card. I did this and there was no indication that my payment was not accepted. I went to the performance and left the facility after the show. Suddenly yesterday, out of the clear, i received a Notification of Delinquent Payment in the mail. No previous communication, just this citation advising me i have an outstanding parking notice and the original $30 is now $63 due i imagine to late fees. I go on line this morning, looking gor a phone number to speak to a person about this issue and see that the fee is now $103!This is at best a poor business practice and worst case, a scam! Please help. This can not be the first complaint against this company.Business Response

I have been ticketed 3 times when i paid for my parking. i would like for my tickets to be revoked because i made all payments towards my parking and still somehow got a ticket. DATES: 12/28/2023 , 01/10/2024, and 01/24/2024. ALL confirmations of payment attached. i have been trying to resolve this for weeks now and employees pass me from one another to waiting for a call for 2 weeks to calling back and them telling me they are not affiliated with RI parking co. This is very unfair as i am a consistent costumer and now see i have to go through hoops to get someone to talk to me about these tickets which are not valid.Business Response

Hello, we have looked into the ****** citations. The issue is he is paying hours after he has parked. Parking must be paid for right after parking. We have voided all three of the citations for the ******. Please make sure you are paying right after parking to avoid getting citations. Please note we also think the ****** might of been reaching out to another company.
