Nexus Property Management in ************ is horrible,maintenance ****,landlord ****,manager ****, I've been renting from them for a couple of years now if I could find another place the next day I would break my lease in leave there apartment.maintenance guy's can't fixed nothing properly, they have barged into my apartment without notice, there's rodents problems in my apartment ,then they have the nerve to raise the rent 2 in one year just because they money hungry the apartment ain't worth nothing but $500 a month because it falling apart peace by peace almost everyday in there is days we go 2 weeks without garbage pickups they also don't ever pickup any calls, but they don't care about their customers aslong they get their money.

1 starDo no rent from nexus. They do no answer calls, and take weeks to answer anything through the portal. Throughout my time living under nexus I've had issue after issue. Within a moth of moving in they began renovating the property, 9am to 7pm with excessive noise. After speaking with nexus they said there was nothing that could be done and gave no clear date for the end of the construction. Nexus DOESN'T believe they should let you know there will be months of excessive noise prior to moving in, only once you have signed the contract, with only a few days notice. There were multiple instances of workers coming inside of our home while we worked to cut open walls to repair neighbing unit's, leaving large holes completely unfinished. Workers left construction waste all over the front yard on multiple seperate instances consisting of rotting wood and ***** nails outside despite multiple calls and messages through the tenant portal requesting they be removed. I moved out 4 weeks ago and still have not received my security deposit. We left the apartment spotless, cleaner than when we arrived so there should be no reason reason keep our deposit. They have not answered a single call and I'm beginning to worry I will not received it.Review fromTaylor C

5 starsThe guys at Nexus are second to none. They bailed me out on short notice when no one else could help. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get out from under the responsibilities associated with managing your own investment properties. 5 starsI have had a wonderful experience in dealing with Nexus Property Management. They have been my mentor in the Income Property industry. They have steered me towards fair deals that have appreciated over time. They have provided great maintenance service and good tenants. I believe that without them that I would have been lost and probably would have failed, but with their support have succeed as you of often hear and read about.Review fromAmelie H

Nexus was definitely not what I expected when I hired them as our property manager. We wrote up a contract in detail that was not followed by them. They had no concerns as to the tenant, making multiple holes in all the walls and large holes in the swirled ceiling of our rental home also no concerns about the tenants pulling out all the shrubs around the house and leaving us with very little heating oil which was full when they moved in. They never did a walk through of the property which they said they would do every 6 months. Be aware of these people. And dont think they will fight to get the damage deposit back from the tenants for repairs. You would be better off being your own management company.Nexus Property Management, LLC

UPON THE TENANTS VACATING *************** WANTED NEXUS TO WITHHOLD THE ENTIRE TENANT DEPOSIT FOR DAMAGES THAT WERE ORDINARY, AND DID NOT EXCEED ORDINARY WEAR AND TEAR (AS REQUIRED BY RI LANDLORD TENANT LAW). WE ADVISED HER THAT HER BEHAVIOR WOULD LIKELY END UP IN HER (AND NEXUS) BEING SUED. SHE TOOK MY ADVICE INCORRECTLY AND SAID WE WERE 'PRO TENANT' AND 'DONT CARE ABOUT THE LANDLORD'. WE DO NOT HOLD THIS COMPLAINT FROM *************** IN A NEGATIVE MANNER. SHE WAS VERY INEXPERIENCED, AND A FIRST TIME LANDLORD. TO CLOSE THE MATTER NEXUS ULTIMATELY ENDED UP NEGOTIATING A SETTLEMENT WITH THE FORMER TENANT SO THAT HE RECEIVED SOME OF HIS DEPOSIT, AND THE ***** RECEIVED SOME OF THAT DEPOSIT. My wife and I had the most horrific experience ever with ***************** over at Nexus Property Management. We were lied to and absolute deceit by this individual *****************. It was lie after lie from this individual. We vacated a property without a signed month to month agreement, and we provided him a 30 day notice prior as agreed upon. He raised the rent on us, and forced us into obtaining more space in the home once he evicted the tenant next store. When we moved out he put together a breakdown of damages that is clearly not true. He had lied and left a bad review for my company of 30 years due to his frustration of us vacating the property. He never used my company so leaving a review was wrong, and unjustified. He has and Nexus Property Management has a pleathra of bad reviews on ******* It is very discouraging to deal with a person like ***************** who looks down on others, and things he is in power due to his position. I strongly encourage to stay away from this company. I am reporting this company and ***************** to the Attorney General of ************.Nexus Property Management, LLC

***** and his wife were difficult tenants at best. They left Nexus owing over $6,000, and left close to $20,000 worth of damages in the property after living there for just 10 months. If there were a way for us to leave a review for ***** and his wife we would happily oblige.
