      Timeshare is a scam! Was promised simplicity and ease of use but has been nothing as promised. I stopped paying maintenance fees and am now being harassed with collection threat. I want to give deed back and let out of this scam. I am not looking to sell or make money just walk away.

      I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my timeshare. We were promised easy exchanges, access to specific locations, and affordable fees, which have not been fulfilled. We tried reaching out to cancel and this company wants $2500 to cancel. We have already lost a lot of money by purchasing this vacation plan and we were greatly misled into this purchase. We should not have to pay anything.Our initial meeting was extended for three hours, causing inconvenience. We have only managed to use the home resort twice and exchange a week once, despite being promised availability. The promised day-use at ******** was non-existent and the exchange process with ********************** was ****** complex.Maintenance fees have increased while the quality of our resort has declined. We have been unable to sell back the unit, burdening our children with financial obligations.The timeshare has become a financial burden rather than a source of enjoyment. We request that the fee to exit this ownership be waived and urge BBB to address these issues promptly.

      My experience with Ocean Club at Atlantic Beach has been an absolute nightmare, and I am beyond dissatisfied with the services provided. Ive been looking for a way to end my ownership but theres a roadblock at every turn. I paid a company to sell my timeshare about four years ago, only to find out that I had been scammed. In addition, I feel that Ocean Club at Atlantic Beach has scammed me as well. When I purchased the timeshare, I was told that I could use it whenever I wanted, but whenever I attempted to do so, I was never able to get in. I was only able to use it once about 7-8 years ago when I was given a studio unit. This is not what I was promised at the time of purchase. Furthermore, I was told that the timeshare would be pet-friendly, but this is not the case. Im unable to bring my pet with me, which makes it essentially useless for me. If I had known at the time of purchase that pets were not allowed, I never would have bought the timeshare. To make matters worse, your sales representative, ******, suggested that I find someone on the street and sign a quitclaim deed to get rid of my share. This is an unethical suggestion and only serves to prove that this is not a good business. I need contact from them ASAP about closing my account.
