The date of the transaction was Friday, August 26, 2022 and the amount of money I paid the business was $500.00. The business, at that point, had my phone in their possession for almost an entire month. I had to call and check on the process a few times. My phone turned off and wouldn't turn back on so I went to the business with hopes that they could get my data off of the phone. They said they would try and if they could get it for me it would be $500.00 but if not they do not charge. When they finally called three weeks later and said my phone was all set and to come a day next week and it would take about half an hour to transfer the new data to my new phone. I went there the next week on Tuesday and waited over an hour for them to tell me they could not put the data on my phone because their computer required a password. He then called his partner to get the password and still did not have it so he told me to come back tomorrow. I went back the next day and waited again for over an hour while the same problem occurred. I then left my new phone with him for another hour and a half while I went home and waited. He called and said he still couldn't do it and he would drop it off. When he arrived he said call tomorrow and we will set up a time. I called the next day and he did not answer for several days when I finally called him again he answered. He said he could only get my pictures and I said ok but I think the price should be cut down since I'm only receiving a small portion of the information on my phone. He told me no and said he would charge me $800.00 for the pictures. I went and got the pictures the next day, handed him $500.00 and walked out the door. I went home to find that only half of the pictures were recovered when he told me all of them were recovered. This man now has all of my personal information from my phone on his computer and that scares me and makes me very uncomfortable. He also has $500.00 of my money.

****** brought her iPhone 11 64GB for recovery to our office. She wanted to recover photos from her failed phone. Phone was stuck at startup, which usually happens when its overloaded with information. We have quoted her $500 for successful recovery of her pictures. During the recovery, we have noticed additional oxidation on the motherboard, we have fixed it and was able to recover most of the information. No additional charges was applied. As an option, we have offered to possibly restore everything to her new phone. She had asked to do it quickly, so she can keep using her phone for work. I have made two attempts on two different days to restore a backup to her new phone while she was waiting in our office, but was unsuccessful with it. Her original phone was returned to her. I have asked her to leave a new phone with us for 24 hours to attempt another restore, she refused to do that and stated that this phone belonged to her work company and she can't leave it. I have offered to copy all pictures on to the drive, so she can have access to them immediately, she agreed. We have copied 38GB of recovered pictures and videos on to our hard drive for her, no additional charges for the drive. When all of the pictures was ready for a pickup she stated that she will pay less for the service, due to the fact that not all of the data was recovered from the phone, but initially she wanted only pictures. ****** refused to pay for service unless she gets the discount. We have refused to accept less for our work. That apparently angered her a lot. Finally she agreed to pay an originally agreed price, came to our office, reviewed the pictures that was recovered, picked them up on the drive we have provided and on her way out, she started threatening me that she will file a complaints against us in all possible forms.... No complaints was received from her that it was less pictures then was on her phone. For technical information iPhone 11 64Gb can only store up to 45GB of information, including apps... I, as well as Data Recovery New England, will continue to do a good work for our clients. Sincerely, ***********************
