      Transaction Date = 11/17/23 Amount Paid = $500.00 I arrived at Roger Williams Medical Center the morning of November 17, 2023 for a preventative procedure; therefore, covered 100% by my insurance. Although, they required me to make a down payment or they would not perform the procedure. They actually requested $1,000.00 down and I asked to only put down $500.00 as it should be covered through my insurance so they had agreed. They had not even tried prior to my procedure to put it through my insurance. Needless to say, after confirming that my insurance company sent the hospital full payment for the procedure, as it is a preventative, I have still not received my $500.00 back. I have called Roger Williams Medical Center, at ************ / option 6 / billing, on several occasions and keep being told that its still pending. As of May 1st I started keeping a log of my calls to them. In addition to the call on May 1st, I called on May 30th, June 27th, July 10th and again on July 22nd. On July 22nd, they told me my refund was still pending and when I asked to speak to a supervisor, they hung up on me (the first time they hung up, I gave them the benefit of the doubt that we were disconnected so called them back). They did ask for my phone number in case the call got disconnected but they had not called me back neither time. Please help me, I dont know what to do at this point. Feel free to call me should additional information be required.
