      alliance renewed our contract without notifying us the contract was up. i did not get any hard copy in the mail or anything showing that we had an option to change our contract or renew it. when i called thirty days prior to the contract ended to stop service. they had already renewed it. the email went to my spam folder and was not aware this was taking place. they forced me to pay for the year anyway. We since then moved and we are now out of all that money. I called customer service they were rude, hung up on me and just belligerent. I since then sent them a letter to cancel. I hope this helps people to beware of security systems as they all seem to go bankrupt and buy each other out without letting customers know this is happening.

      I am so frustrated and annoyed that I am being forced to continue working with this company. I purchased a home in 2019 with my ex, who unfortunately signed some sort of contract with this business. After our divorce shortly after, they refused to change the primary contact / account holder to my information, regardless of how many times we both called and emailed them proof. Then, after a year I wanted to cancel because $72 seems like an excessive amount to be paying for cheap monitoring, but was told I could not cancel unless I paid out the total remaining balance. The contract was supposedly for 5 years. Ive tried to cancel, get a discount and nothing. Then after awhile, the company became impossible to reach. No direct number, website or email. Not to mention, the phone app for their service has locked me out and because I am not the primary account holder, I have no access to resetting my password or deleting users. Great. Its been a waste of time, patience, money and services.

      I can't get in contact with the company except for sales and they hang up as soon as I ask for customer support. I emailed and got no response for months. Now system isn't working.
