      I purchased a watch band from Speidel & ended up the band was defective & broke. They only warrant their items for a year & of course this happened months after I purchased it. I reported it to Speidel in hopes that they would stand behind their products but instead tried to blame me that he band had been stretched & caused it to break. That was not the case at all & they would only send me a link to put on the band at my own expense. This was not fair to me as a ************ would like to get the entire band replaced.

      We offer a limited year warranty on all of our watchbands. If you are past the warranty timeframe we try to help by offering additional options so that you are able to still use your band.

      I did not buy it straight from the company, so my order# will not be something that you have. This has been a major inconvenience for me since I cannot wear my watch now. The link came loose from the other side of the band & caused it to come apart. That is a defect & should have not happened. I purchased it because it was a Speidel & knew from other experiences that it was a better quality band. I would like for the company to stand behind their product & give me a replacement. I would appreciate your understanding in this matter.

      Hello ******,

      Thank you for the order number, with that I was able to look into this issue further for you and was able to see the transaction and previous correspondence. The band was purchased 2/2/2023, the first time you reached out to us 8/23/2024 , the warranty was expired by 6 months. From the photo that we received from you one of the staples that holds the band together was stretched beyond its capacity. This type of damage is not normal wear and tear and would not normally be covered under the warranty even if it was still valid. We always want to help our customer where we can and sent out replacement links, at no additional charge to you, so that the band can be repaired. If you would prefer to purchase a new band we would be happy to offer you a discount, please contact our customer service team to arrange.

      I purchased this band because I know the reputation of Speidel for quality. It should have held up better than this for the time I have had it. I did not stretch it to cause this to happen. It is a twist-o-flex & that to me says better durability. In the picture I sent I purposely pulled it out to show the missing piece & you seem to think that it is stretched out, sorry I am not abusive to my watches like that.

      I can't even find this band anymore & that piece of link you offered would cost me more getting a jeweler to repair it than just trying to find another one.

      If you can get me a discount for a replacement & let me know what that would be, I would appreciate it. I have been without my watch for some time now & would like to get this resolved.
