On June 1 I purchased a Ryobi framing nailer for $200 cash. I found this on ******** marketplace. I drove an hour for this price. I got to the store and the owner/employee could not find the nail gun. He asked me to step out of the store so he could go look and came back with a nail gun in a damaged box that at first glance looked ok, had a tiny damage but looked to be in working condition. For the price I thought that was okay the tools are tough and it was fine. Because the nail gun requires special nails that I needed to get I was unable to test it until June 9th. I had kept the nail gun carefully stored in my basement in the meantime. When I tried the nail gun out, it did not work. When I messaged the seller with pictures, I was ignored. When I called the store, I was told they have a 24 hour return policy and they would not allow an exchange. This is unreasonable given the fact in order to test the nail gun I had to get extra materials that took some extra time. It is clearly unused and undamaged except for the way that it was sold.
