This project was completely mismanaged from the start, ***** ****** said. We should have never taken on this project.Hiring Precision Design and Build was the most expensive mistake weve ever made. Not only has it caused us ongoing financial issues to fix their shoddy work, but it has also been mentally taxing on our lives. We hired them after they promised us a full-service experience, which turned out to be anything but that. ***** frequently reminded us that the more we let them take charge, the quicker the project would progress. Unfortunately for Precision, they struggle with organization and lack the leadership skills to truly understand what it means to be in charge. Throughout our collaboration, they consistently opted for the cheapest and easiest solutions, showing little regard for the quality or experience they offered us. On a regular basis, we had to ask for updates or explanations for why the schedule they had provided wasnt accurate, often receiving no actual explanation from their end. We were constantly given excuses, or the blame was placed on subcontractors. It became evident that ***** was not experienced in the construction space; this was further confirmed when we overheard several of his employees making fun of his lack of knowledge in the industry, with even ***** ********* expressing shock that ***** kept any tools in his car.About three months into the project, the on-site manager and the main person assisting him were let go from Precision. The team that came in afterward was told that the job was near completion, but when they assessed the work that had been done, they informed us that they would need to redo a significant portion and that much work remained. This contributed to the project taking much longer than anticipated. The final check paid to Precision was not issued until eight weeks later. The entire project (excluding warranty work) took almost double the time we were initially told.
