    Over the summer, I believed a check I sent **** was not from an old checking account. I texted **** this information and he agreed to rip up the check via text message. A replacement was sent, as well as cashed by ****.The original check that was to be destroyed cleared my account on January 9, 2025. I alerted **** about this and questioned what was going on. He denied cashing the check. When I sent over a photo of the front and back of the check provided by my bank, **** stated he had a new employee that and he would refund the money (in writing via text message).The payments made by me to **** were on behalf of my ex-husband, his customer. Not one bill, invoice, agreement has my name on it. These payments were made to assist with the payment of household bills. **** is stating that because money is owed to him by my ex (his customer) that he will not repay me for cashing the check. He has lied multiple times regarding this matter and my next step is a police complaint, if necessary.

    I have been servicing the ********* for many years and have received many payments over the course of years serviced they sent me a check for the month of July for $210.00 and said it was from a closed account then they sent another check from the same exact account for the same amount for $210.00 I cashed one of the checks for the bill due for July then ****** was due I received no payment then October was due still no payment I called for a payment and was asked for a leave cleanup I agreed and was told I would be paid since they were customers for many years I believed I would be paid then was told after we did the cleanup by ***** ******** she was not paying me because she said her husband hired me even though on many occasions she requested for specific work to be done at that point I cashed the other check for $210.00 towards the $750.00 balance due and still waiting on the other $540.00 for services rendered
