I'm reaching out because I'm so unhappy with what was done to my rims when I left them to be powder coated. I dropped my rims off on a Thursday to be painted they are 2 piece rims so we agreed inner rim Mattalic Blue and outer barrel to be done in black. Now 2 of my barrels had a very small crack now when I went to see them the following Monday **** spoke to me in regards to the cracks to be welded. He brought me in to see them now what I saw speechless. **** had cut the outer edges of 2 barrels. He cut a triangle the size of a quarter in the both of them. He then let me know it was going to cost me $175.00 each crack to b welded. Now I had two cracks the size of half of a toothpick. Now with a quarter side chunk out of the both of the. He added it would take hime at least 6 or 7 places to be tacked by the welder.. So $175.00 6.. Imagine the cost.. So i went to pick up my rims and **** told me i had a balance of $600. Now I already paid him $550. Up front total all together was agreed to be $900. So I am still trying to get my rims back. The inners were painted Blue and the barrels have not been painted and still have huge chunks cut out of them. I think I paid for what I am getting back. $550. Is more the enough for only half the job done. Ocean State Powder to today had not given me my merchandise back without me paying another $600. And unfortunately I will not pay for a job not done. I do not feel wrong in the situation I feel I should be able to get my merchandise back for the money that I paid cuz it's well worth what job was done I am reaching out cuz I don't know who else reach out to thank you for your time

First of all, we called the customer several times to indicate he had several cracks on the barrel.  At that time, we already sandblasted and powder coated the other parts except the ones that had cracks on the barrel. Seven months later, he decided to arrive to pick up his parts.  We made several attempts to contact the customer.  He never responded back.  Please see a copy of our invoice and refer to item number two at the bottom of the invoice, which indicates the price if the parts are not picked ** in three days.  So, its been seven months and if you do the math, the storage fee would be over five thousand dollars alone.  I charged him $900.00 with a $300.00 deposit.  I believe I'm being fair.
