    I purchased a Smart Surge Protector from APC in March of 2022. It came with an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac to control the 120V outlets and USB ports. The Apps suddenly stopped working around October 20th, 2024. I contacted APC support and was told "the product was discontinued but still supported", but would NOT fix the App / software problem. I gave them 10 days to work on it before contacting them again. The ONLY way to get support is by online chat, no phone, no email. The 2nd time I chatted, they hung up on me. The 3rd time I was told that the hardware is supported, but not the app (software). When I purchase any product with software, I expect it to be supported for at least 10 years. I am extremely disappointed in APC and after 35 years working professionally in computer system integration I can say that ALL and ANY persons should avoid APC products that are bundled with software or require internet support. APC has poor business planning and support.

    I purchased an APC *** battery backup. We had a power surge which damaged our ******* modem, Eero mesh gateway router and video recording device. I filed a claim in July of 2022. I did get a response in Sept 2022 that was a release of settlement claim for $455.75. I signed the form but have never received the money.

    Wrong unit sold. They won't take the product back. They are charging me a 15% restocking fee and shipping handling costs. **************** is awful. Don't buy anything from this company. Horrible experience.
