Very unimpressed with my recent experience with the level of service i got at the Balise Subaru dealership. First went in for the viscous coupler and a couple emissions things, fix took longer than originally told. Few days later lights came back on for the same emissions things and took them 7 business days (when I was told it would be done quickly) to fully fix and still got charged for parts and labor the second time. Note parts weren't purchased the first time for this issue so I understand paying for parts but I was at least expecting them to take off the labor for a second visit on a returning issue. Overall very unsatisfied with my first and probably last time going to a dealership. Did not feel like I was valued and on top of everything communication was awful between me and the service rep.

I went to have my state inspection at Balise Subaru. Which they inspected it a couple years prior. And stated that it was a nice car but if I'm looking for an upgrade and trade it in they would be happy to help me. I brought it back there this year to get it inspected and they're telling me that there's all kinds of problems failing safety concerns with it including brakes, which I just replaced not even a week or two ago saying it was leaking brake lines, saying that the sub frame is ***** which they passed it last year. They're saying that the tires were worn which still have good tread on them. I was going to replace anyways this winter. But figured I would hold off since they still had a good amount of wear left on them. They said that my license plate lamp was out which they have two on a Subaru outback so one was out which I could replace but the estimates that they're given me to fix all of these were are ridiculous amount. They said I'd probably be better off just to trade it in since the estimate to fix was so much my estimate for four tires mount balance $1,923. Brake lines from the front to the rear and brake hoses $3,840! $33 for the license plate bulb. new brakes and rotors which I just had done with top of the line lifetime warranty they want to charge $460 they also want me to have the ones in the rear done for another $460 and a new subframe that they said is rotted which would be $1,280. And then they go and charge you for the inspection sticker fee which I didn't even get which was $55.. then they tell me that it's not even probably worth fixing that I should probably just trade it in and get a new one from them!. I said are you kidding me. I have friends that are mechanics and in the family I know about my car and how well it is I don't need to trade it in. I had a whole new exhaust system put in and new brakes on it not even know a week ago.. a scam for them to get people that don't know about cars to feel as though they need a new trade! Ripoff
