      I had this company sealcoat my driveway two years ago and was very satisfied. I,had them recost it about three weeks ago and had problems where there looked like oil stains and other spots on the driveway. I called them and spoke with ****** who said she'd have her father come out with a couple of days. This week I decided to call and find out what is going on. I've left 5 or 6 messages and they have not returned my call. I want to know what is wrong with this job they did.

      The day after ** called our office, when he spoke with my daughter, ******, and she told him she'd get back to him in a few days, she had gotten very sick and wasn't in work for over a week. She handles the office side of our company, including phone calls. I, and our small crew were on multiple job locations, as we're coming to the close of our work season. I never had the chance to get back to ** to address his concerns myself, or rather I didn't respond fast enough for his liking, as evidenced by the multiple angry voicemails my daughter finally received once she came back to work. I did go out to the location right after he called to see for myself as his complaint regarding "oil stains" didn't make any sense. After we sealed his driveway he told my daughter that he was in the hospital for a week. During that time leaves from his tree fell on his driveway and started to biodegrade. That is no ones fault, least of all mine. It's a normal occurrence for the fall and are the result of leaves landing on the dried sealed surface and breaking down before the homeowner could remove them. I'm attaching pictures. These are NOT oil stains. ** would have gotten a response had he not been so belligerent in his voicemails to my company and towards my daughter. As he stated, we've worked together in the past with no issue yet he showed absolutely no ***** and acted like we were his enemy. There were also some small animal footprints on the driveway as well. The sealcoating work was done properly and to his satisfaction clearly, because he paid us. It's unrealistic to think I'd be responsible for nature landing on or going across his driveway after the fact. Again, I'm attaching pictures. The coating is fine, and the elements will wear away the those biodegraded leaf stains away over time.

      ***** Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      i am not satisfied with this message from the owner. I was never belligerent to his daughter. All messages were on voice mail, so there was no person to person contact. If I knew that leaves would cause a problem, then I would never have had it done. Not to get a return call whether from his daughter (which I am sorry to hear about her illness) or the owner is just unacceptable in my opinion. The comment in due time the stains would go away is just unbelievable. I guess trusting someone in a matter like this is unbelievable. 

      Thank you for your help in this matter. In my opinion,  I spent $385.00 that was not worth it for the answer returned. If that was the answer about the leaves, I think the company should at least explain that to the customer. Again, thank you for your help in this matter.
