    02/14/2024 Ive had an ongoing issue with my heating and a dangerous amount of propane being released, 100 gallons used in less than 3 months. Maintenance worker for property management suggested that the tank might be faulty and needs to be replaced. Spoke to consumers propane and they agreed to inspect the tank and replace if need be. They came took the tank and replaced it with another one, filled it (I did not request for it to be filled but was charged for it on more than on occasion) I started to receive invoices from them that were over 500 dollars, I called to discuss the billing and they tell me that there was nothing wrong with the tank but yet they still replaced it, then stated that

    Customer had called because of a gas smell but it was his propane tank that was empty. One of our techs went and did a pressure test to check for leaks but no leaks were found, tank was fine--smell was because tank was empty.  Our tech did not have a small propane tank to empty into the large tank but he did have another large tank on his truck so he swapped out the tank.  We double checked the original tank for leaks again but no leaks were found.  The customer had to pay the $757.03 because there was a balance due from December (the finish filling of the new tank) plus he wanted a delivery (he heeds to prepay for his deliveries).  We are required by the **** codes to FILL any newly installed tank. Then customer calls back to cancel the delivery so a refund was issued back to his cc for the gallons he prepaid for.  Towards the end of the same day, customer calls back wanting to get the delivery so we had to charge his card again.  We never charged him for anything that he did not receive.  He did call here on numerous occasions one day and spoke to at least 4 different people and was extremely vulgar.  We all tried to explain the billing but his language and remarks were completely uncalled for.  

    There was nothing wrong with the propane tank, there was an issue with his heater.  The maintenance person for that property was there when our tech went and said as much.  We can give him a refund but that would require us locking out the propane tank (he would then have no heat, hot water, or be able to cook).
