I paid for my truck to be paint and and a new fender I wasn’t happy with the job they did. They tried to fix my old fender an give it back to me also I paid for headlights that I never received. I have everything documented an receipts of payment. My vehicle paint was also damaged. The paint also doesn’t match the rest of the car color. In the process of me trying to resolve this situation I was put on trespassing notice.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/23/2023

MR. ****** reached out to my business on December 23,2022 stating that his car was in a car accident and that the driver in a kinda accord backed up into him. when customers call me trying to file an insurance claim, I always ask them to tell me exactly what happened. Mr. ****** told my company that the car backed into him and that his car could not start and he had to have it towed. when I met with Mr. ****** I came to acknowledge that he was responsible for damages that had nothing to do with thee insurance claim. the insurance company informed us in writing that they were only going to (REPAIR) the front bumper and not fixed it. they insurance adjuster made it clear that Mr. ****** has had work done before and they was not paying to fix his car and that the car was not even getting a new bumper but instead of repairing his bumper, my company went ahead and ordered Mr. Bulter a new bumper which was against our policy because we state whatever the insurance company don't pay for the customer is responsible. Mr. ****** Agreed and even signed a paper stating that all transactions and payment are to be given directly to our company and anything else comes directly from him. one we replaced his bumper and have it painted back to perfection, Mr. ****** picked up his car and was satisfied with the work he received. 2 hours later Mr. ****** called and said a piece came off his hood and would like for us to fix it. also we told Mr. ****** that if he wanted his headlights fixed that the insurance company agreed that they were not paying for it and that, that transaction would have to paid out of pocket. He agreed and made a payment of $150.00. My company placed the order for the headlights on a 2010 Volvo CX60 and we advise him that the headlights was on back order and we have a date of between march and April. Mr. ****** agreed and said ok. When Mr. ****** called me 2 hours later after picking up his car from my shop, I told him to bring the car back and we will see what the problem was. When Mr. ****** brought the car back that night we found out that he was talking about the moulding for the car and that is one of the pieces that we told Mr. ****** that the insurance company was not paying for , that if he wanted that fixed he would have to come out of pocket and pay for it to get done himself. upon doing business with Mr. ******, My company made sure that he had a rental for 3 months because in the beginning the insurance company only wanted to pay for a fender. so Mr. ****** then came and said well since you got the car can you guys just go ahead and replace the fender I told him for us to do that job with having it painted it would be a total off $800.00. Mr. ****** agreed and pay with a Cashiers check. we ordered the driver fender and had it fixed Mr. ****** came on Wednesday March 1, 2023 after I called him to let him know that his car was finished. he asked where I was and I stated I was at the shop and he said that he was on the way. Upon Arriving I told Mr. ****** to don't worry about the grease that it would easily come off and it came from the mechanic putting the fender on. he actually could wipe it off. he screamed in happiness in front of customers and employees stating how much he loved his car. I asked him if he was satisfy with his service he said yes and I told him that I would then be closing his ticket. because of his work schedule we agreed that he could come pick up his car on Saturday march 4, 2023. upon Arriving on Saturday Mr. ****** still did not say he had any complaints and was happy with his service. so my company transported his car which is a $75.00 fee but we did not charge him simply because we had done business. we dropped the 2010 Volvo CX60 to his home and left the key inside the truck. 3 hurt later I received a text message stating that the paint is not the same color and we messed up his car and that he wanted his money back. I called Mr. ****** and explained to him that he was not getting his money back and that I can see that this is a pattern and he just wants free work. he then threatened me and stated. " I know what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna make you out of example" I took that as a threat and immediately went to self defense. Mr. ****** then showed up unannounced to my home where my business office is located at 10pm and I felt threatened so I had to use excessive force and I immediately contacted the police and he was place on Trespass notice. My business will not be issuing a refund because if he had a problem he should have not took the vehicle and left it. due to his disrespect and threatening my life and business, Mr. ****** is not allowed to do anymore business with my business and is not allowed back to my home. if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out regarding this matter.
