In March 2022 I contacted ******** **** ****** to take advantage of their offer for carpet cleaning. ******** **** ****** contracted ********** to do the service. ********** contracted Kenny ****** of Deep Clean Carpet Clean. The date of service was April ** 2022. Before cleaning my carpet, Deep Clean used my kitchen faucet without authorization and caused a flood of water on my kitchen floor. The faucet was not working properly and had they asked to use it, I would have told them to use the hose outside of my home. Upon leaving my kitchen Kenny ****** caused further damage to my floor due to what I presume was a nail in his shoe. It punctured my floor which resulted in a rip and hole. I didn't notice the damage until the next day and immediately notified Kenny. Upon leaving out the main and security door Kenny and I both noticed a crack in the security door. This was caused by his staff moving the carpet cleaning machine in and out of my ****. We watched **** videos to confirm. Kenny admitted fault and said he would replace the door. The next day Kenny texted saying he would fix the damages. I told him about the floor. He stopped responding. Since then, he's denied in text messages that he damaged my property, admitted to damaging it and said he would fix and replace it, asked if he could give me money to make this go away, lied and said he filed an insurance claim, would not provide the claim number or certificate of insurance, finally sent two certificates (one expired and the second he bought AFTER the incident), and now he admits he didn't have insurance when he damaged my property. Neither of the the parties involved ******** **** ******* *********** and Deep Clean Carpet Clean are accepting accountability. It's been several months since my property was damaged and it still needs repairing. I am requesting $5,000 in damages for the property damage and emotional distress dealing with this.
