Feb 2,2025: I purchased two tickets for a New York Fashion Show on 7 Feb, 2025 hosted by merchant The Bureau. Total cost was $161.34.

February 8, 2025: I contacted The Bureau customer service team via email to request a full refund for the 7 Feb, 2025 show citing that the quality of what was advertised is not what was provided including 1. Paid customers seating or standing sections were taken up by Bureau staff, refreshments had finished well before the show even started and the wait in the cold was over an hour and a half before entry was provided for no apparent reason in the New York February cold. Furthermore tickets were not even checked so it was unclear if the overcrowding in a small space was because of paid attendees or not, all of which meant you could barely see the show.

Feb 20, 2025: “David” from The Bureau’s customer service team wrote “Regarding your refund request, I understand your concerns, and we want to handle this matter directly with you. I will review this with our team and get back to you as soon as possible with an update on the next steps.”

March 7 and April 5, 2025: I emailed The Bureau’s website called to follow up with no response being provided by them since Feb 20, 2025.

I had separately contacted **** on 8 Feb to open a dispute on the charge. I contacted them again on April 5 to flag I had got no response from the merchant. They informed me that the merchant had blocked **** from investigating so all I can do now is keep trying to get a response from The Bureaus or inform the BBB to help investigate and resolve this matter.

I am seeking a full refund for a service that was not as advertised and an unresponsive merchant who will not confirm after saying they will review and come back with next steps.
