    On 2/3/2023 a technician from the Bell Group Handyman Service visited my home to assess an odor problem that appeared to be coming from the shower in the main bedroom of our home. The technician spent approximately 20 minutes at my home assessing the problem for which I paid him a fee of $75.00. Subsequent to the technician's visit, I received a phone call from a representative of the Bell Group Company indicating that a technician would be dispatched to my home to resolve the odor issue at my home. I asked the representative how much time would be required for the technician to resolve the issue at my home. She responded that the work would take from 1.1/2 to 2 hours to complete the plumbing repair at a cost of $427plus change. On 2/10/2023 a technician arrive at my home at 10:33am to resolve the odor issue at my home. The technician completed his work in 10 minutes. He then requested payment of $427.00. I asked him if there would be a fee adjustment since the work required far less time then I was previously told. he indicated that he was not in a position to adjust the bill but would call the Bell Group Office for me to discuss the matter with them. I then spoke with someone in the Bell group Office who indicated that the bill would not be adjusted, At that point I offered to pay something other than $427.00. The technician left my premises after stating that he could not accept anything less than $427.00. My complaint centers on the fact that the bells Group misrepresented to me the extent of the work that would need to be performed to justify an exorbitant charge for the work.

    Have not had AC in over a month. Third time since moving in April.
