I purchased a battery operated trimmer and lawn mower april 14, 2022. Last week, both items stopped operating. I am unable to return to thd store because it's been longer than 30 days of purchase. I called and spoke with a female whom stated she was with the corporate office. She informed me that I would have to take the equipment to va Beach. I reside in hampton. I am unable to transport their worthless equipment to va Beach. I also purchased the extended warranty which I cannot use because Hart still has the equipment under their warranty policy. This company is a rip off and does not uphold their warranty instead they expect their customers to driver more than 30 miles away with their worthless products.Business Response

I am rejecting the business response because the location is more than 25 miles from where I live, it is costly in traffic and as I've stated to the business I do not have a vehicle to transport the worthless equipments. I purchase the equipment from ******* within 5 miles from where I live. The company needs to provide a mode of transportation since their only means of solving this issue is for me to travel almost 40 miles away.

My ***** Corner Cat Sander quit working after approximately 6 months of use. Contacted ***** who stated it was still under their warranty, however, I would either need to 1. drive to their service center 1 hour and 25 minutes ONE WAY from my house or 2. Pay for shipping to a service center with an unknown ETA turnaround. Both are unacceptable. ***** needs to pay for the cost of shipping to the service center OR refund my money so I can purchase a new sander from a different company with better customer service. If your product stops working after 6-months of ownership, that’s bad manufacturing and should not be the customers responsibility to fix.Business Response

I received for Christmas a ***** flooring saw, model ******. Upon opening it today, the table has what looks like ink smeared on it, and tiny pock marks from bad aluminum extrusion. It's missing parts as well, and no signs the box has been messed with. While this tool is under warranty, ***** expects me to drive 100 miles round trip to a service center, and 100 miles round trip to pick it back up. I asked what I can do if it can't be repaired, and they said they would file a claim, does ***** not trust customer to file a claim? What good is a warranty if you have to spend $30 on gas and 4-4.5 hours to get compensated for their bad manufacturing? It's too late now to take it back to **** *****. Companies should learn that if a customer has to spend a bunch of time and money on a warranty since the company can't seem to take a customer at their word, then those customers will most likely not buy from them again. This is terrible customer service. I should NOT be expected to drive 200 miles due to a companies mistake, and asking that of someone is nonsense!Business Response

This item was received as a gift, as explained in prior communication. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits manufacturers from denying warranty coverage if the item was manufactured during the warranty period, which it still is. The manufacturer is still bound to provide warranty coverage regardless if the consumer has a proof of purchase or not.I have attached photos of the damage.

I purchased (2) *** batteries in 01/2022 in a battery/charger combo kit from **** ***** in Fayetteville, GA. Both have died / will not charge as of 01/2023. These batteries have a 3 year warranty. I contacted warranty replacement and was told since I did not have a receipt, go to the **** ***** store and get a copy. I went to the HD store where I purchased the batteries and was told they only keep records for 12 months. I DO HAVE PROOF IN MY BANK STATEMENTS THAT THE PURCHASE WAS MADE. However I have been told that since I do not have a receipt they will not honor the warranty. The fact that BOTH products FAILED after only 1 year of limited use indicates to me that the product is suspect and defective. I have at least 10 ***** One+ products. These batteries are ***** batteries. After several email messages and phone calls, ***** has declined to honor the warranty. In my opinion, this is FRAUD, and failure to replace a defective product, warranty or not.Business Response

Complaint against Techtronic Industries Power Equipment for ***** Zero Turn Riding Mower purchase from **** ***** on 10/14/19 for $3505.19 (serial no. **************). Also bought ***** Bagger for $375. Lawnmower experience terrible. Battery problems since receiving it, won't charge past 70%, quick discharge. Reported to ***** on 06/02/20 (incident ID: ********). ***** arranged service, battery replaced, issue seemed resolved. But same issues returned in summer 2021, gauge replaced after a month of service. Spring 2022, same issues plus a new one. After using the mower for an hour and a half, the battery drained completely. The mower was charged for three hours and showed 100% charge, but once mowing started, it would drop to 60%. After 15 minutes of mowing on a flat surface, it would shut down for no reason. It would not go up a small hill and would shut off. At that point the mower became completely useless. I contacted ***** again on 05/26/22, and send videos of the issue. I followed up with emails and phone calls several times, but received no response. On 01/24/23, ***** said lawnmower not under warranty. I said issue is ongoing during warranty. I sent copy of receipt, and repair history. ***** agreed it should be covered under warranty and will arrange for new service company, but never did. On 02/02/23 The service center informed me that authorization from ***** is needed. However, ***** refused to pay for the lawnmower repair or pick-up/delivery, citing that it was out of warranty. This was disappointing as they had initially approved it. I am extremely unhappy with ***** Claim Support. Reported battery issue during warranty, but not resolved. Can't use lawnmower. I demand that Techtronic Industries Power Equipment provide a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this issue. I want Techtronic Industries Power Equipment to fix it, replace it, or refund me. I ordered a **** weed eater. I piece broke and I contacted the company in August 2022. They stated that they would send the part free of charge. I never received anything. I contacted the company again in November 2022 and they said there was an error and they would resend the part. I never received it..I contacted the company again in January 2023 and they said there was another error and they will resend it again. I never received it so I contacted them in February 2023 and they said the part is no longer available and I will have to come out of pocket and take it to a repair shop.Business Response

I purchased a ***** Snow Blower model ********** from **** ***** on January 2nd, 2022. Roughly one year later on January 31st, 2023 the device is no longer functional. Their only options for me to get this fixed under their 5 year manufacturer's warranty is to drive 80+ miles each way, or pay to ship the product to a service center. I bought the "******40V-Expand-It-Cordless-Battery-Attachment-Capable-String-Trimmer-Tool-Only" less than 2 years ago and the motor has already failed. I am extremely frustrated because when I took it in under warranty, they told me it would cost $30 to send it in (I would get it back if it was covered) and it would take two weeks to find out if they can fix it themselves, then another 8-10 weeks to send it in to get it replaced if need be. This is ABSURD! I have several other ***** tools that attach to this...So how am I supposed to maintain my lawn for months without my tools! This is a god awful warranty process and my tool should have never failed in the first place. If this company wants to fix my issue and regain my trust in their products, I want another "*****-40V-Expand-It-Cordless-Battery-Attachment-Capable-String-Trimmer-Tool-Only" attachment shipped to my address. I will not wait months. I purchased a ***** Lawn Vacuum online from **** *****, on October 25, 2022. Once I received the product, I attempted to charge the 40 volt battery, without success. I called ***** Customer Service after several emails back an forth, they determined it was a defect battery and not the charger. The customer service Representative told me she would submit for a battery replacement and they would send it to my residence on file, which I verified. The battery would take about 15 business days before it would be shipped. On November 18, 2022, I texted the customer service number that they sent to me in the email confirming my first order with an order#*******, and they replied back that the battery was not shipped and gave me a new order#*******, but was again told it would be another 15 business days before I would get the battery. I asked why couldn't I get any faster? The reply was they cannot expedite the shipment. I asked for a supervisor, which I was not able to talk to anyone. They forward me to a voice mail of a Chuck, don't recall the last name. asking for a call back. Never received a call back. Yesterday, December 6, I again text to check on the status, and the reply was, "The order was not shipped and is in the processing." I waited until today to check again and was again given the same reply. I asked to text a live agent, which she again told me that she will have to put another order in, because the order was submitted incorrectly. I asked if I would have to wait another 15 business days, which she replied yes and gave ma a new order number#*******.Business Response
