    T & T Carpentry were hired to remove some wood frames, cap off plumbing, encase a shower, and install sheet rock at my mother's home (***** ***** - 82 y/o). Sheet rock was to be finished and I would paint the bathroom. The old wood was removed, new framing was installed, and sheetrock hung. There were 3 men doing the work. Two men said they had finished and sheet rock man was left. I was presented with the bill and this was paid. Soon after payment, the sheet rocker said he ran out of material and would have to obtain more and return. He did not return to finish the job. The sheet rock was very poorly done and a very messy job. I called repeatedly to ask when he would return to finish and straighten out the mess that was left. Finally, a return call was provided and man indicated sheet rocker was in hospital and would not be out for a long time. He said he had no one else that did sheet rock on staff. Inquired when he would be able to fix the job and owner of company then stated finishing sheet rock was not part of contract. The sheet rock was in the process of being finished with mudding and tapping started. I had to hire another contractor to come and fix his mess and finish the job. His charge was $800.00. I would like a refund.

    We do apologies for the misunderstanding. If you look at the original agreement. You’ll notice, we never agreed we would do the mud and taping. The manager on the job Troy W**** said he would have one of his guys do it for you as long as it didn’t inconvenience the company. Unfortunately the guy we had was placed in the hospital none job related and is no longer with us.

    Hi Cindy, I received the response from the business and it was a lie!! My husband never told him we wanted to wait until after the holidays!!! At this point he could of said Christmas day and we would of said ok!!! He states he gave my husband a start date and I can send the texts he provided and there was no start date ever mentioned. Actually since July he has only gave us a date in September and he backed out on that. This guy lies so badly that I am worried he will manipulate it any way he can that way he thinks he can keep our deposit!! Thanks again for sending me his response!!! It just infuriates me that he lies so much!!!
