Contacted Rooter Express to get a new drain field. They said I didn't need one but pumped out septic tank and said several other things needed to be done. They said I didn't need a new drain field and these other repairs would fix the problem. It did not fix the problem, and their own contractor that they sent out later said he could tell that I needed a new drain field just by looking at the yard and the standing water! They have never given me any information on how to finish the job that their contractor told them was needed. No one called me back. Attached is a log of the situation documenting a total lack of professional response. I was told that the $3,000 that I paid to have the other work done to "fix" the problem would be factored in to the final cost of the needed drain field. They tried to tell me that I needed a plumber at my own expense, but I have lived on this property for over 50 years, and I know that nothing is in the line to stop it up. I need a new drain field that I requested in the beginning, and it seems that they have done everything but what I know for sure is needed. I want them to respond with a cost to finish the job, and make it right by applying some of what I already paid them.

Rooter Express Septic Service on *** *********** ** ******** ** is scamming VULNERABLE people out if thousands of dollars DAILY. They open the septic tank and always make it seem like the worst weve ever done. They then proceed to tell the homeowners that there drain field isnt working. They then tell the homeowner the only way to fix it is the do a "Drain Field Rejuvenation" . You hook up a homemade fitting this company hand makes. 2 Poly Lock Fittings and a 90° fitting, and pump EVERYTHING out of the drain field. They then proceed to charge the homeowners an absurd amount of money for this. They usually start off quoting it at $5,000. They start talking fast to the homeowner being very pushy and making out like its the homeowners only option to get the system back in working order and start knocking off on the price until the homeowners agree to a still very steep amount Usually around $3,000 dollars. The thing is theres no such service in the septic industry. Iv personally worked in the septic industry for quite awhile. I dug deeper tho and called around to NUMEROUS septic company's all over the STATE not a single one had any knowledge of a drain field rejuv. Its a scam. The company charges homeowners for work and services they never got. I have txt messages from the owner of the company telling me not to talk to the homeowners. Telling me to try and sell a "rejuv". The trucks are dangerous and not up to DOT specs. Iv personally addressed this to the owner of the company. Seeing people be taken advantage of is something im not ok with. Iv saw customers break down crying because they had to give this man their last dime to pay for this non existing service. One family last week 2-2-24 had to barrow money from someone out of state, them wire the money to sc and the owner of this company took their money with absolutely no remorse. He wont explain to a customer why there being charged so much he has the office ladies to his dirty work for him. Each customer that got a "Drain Field Rejuv" should be refunded of every penny.
