Im a mail lady, after my car broke down I took it to my normal shop. They told me I needed to see a trans shop. Called everyone in Anderson and Slawsons was the only one that could get me in next day for diag. Here it is 6 business days later with no update on my vehicle. They told me it had been looked at and they were waiting to hear how much parts were, but when asked they couldn't tell me what parts were needed or what they found wrong. I decided to go pick up my car, upon arrival my keys were sitting on the front counter for anyone to grab and walk away with they were not put away with other customer's keys. Once I get around to where my car is it is unlocked also for anyone to get into and ya know hot wire it, steal it, rummage through what was in there. Etc. This business treated me so unprofessionally and lacks communication with it's customers more than any other I have dealt with. Being a mail carrier for 3 years my car is always in and out of a shop so I'm pretty lenient with time and work needed, but blatantly being lied to is not okay and other should know this is not the place you want to give your money to. I would give 0 stars but this website requires at least one.

Ms ****** vehicle came into my shop on October 18, 2022. We started the diagnosis on October 19, 2022 which was a Wednesday. We finished our diagnosis on Thursday the following day and made inquiries to our parts suppliers as far as pricing and availability for parts needed. As Ms ***** saw when she dropped her car off there were thirty seven (37) other cars ahead of her. The current state of our industry makes finding parts extremely difficult. I always want to provide our customers with accurate information before I give any pricing information. On Monday October 24, 2022 ( technically 3 business days after dropping off, as we close on Fridays) her father called and was very upset (to the point of being rude) that he didn't know what was going on, therefore I explained the situation with parts and he then agreed because he to is in the parts industry. The following day Ms ***** called asking the same questions I had just answered for her father and she said she needed her car, so I told her she could come and pick it up until I received info on pricing and she agreed to do so. That afternoon she started slandering my business on ******** and ****** so I called her again to make sure she was coming to pick up her vehicle. It was at that point we as a business made a decision to decline to work on her vehicle. She arrived at my business 24 hours later after she called and told me she was on the way. We pulled her car around so it was easily accessible to her whenever she arrived. We also had to pump up her flat tires every time we moved her car. Her car was unlocked, as are all cars during business hours,(per industry standard) as we have full view of all cars and have cameras in our lot. Her keys were on the counter, which is in my office, six feet from my desk. No one could steal her keys as was stated. I never lied to Ms ***** nor did I charge her for any of my valuable time spent diagnosing her car or sourcing parts. Also of note, she failed to mention the vehicle was a commercial/mail vehicle when she brought it in. I could have saved both of us time as our company policy is that we don't serve commercial, delivery vehicles.
