    About March 2024 I took a floor model air conditioner with the remote control and outside patio table 4 feet speaker to the Auction Company on 1012 2024. I hadn’t heard from them so I went by there to find out about my items and the man said they sold for $5.20 is what he gave me, there’s no way just the air conditioner is way more than that. I think he took advantage of me because I am a person of color. I don’t think he would’ve did that to anyone else.

    To whom it may concern, My name is Ash S******* and I represent Prosperity Auction Company. When selling Items for customers it is explained to them there is no reserve on items, because all items are sold as-is, where is, no warrantees expressed or implied. We have this posted in multiple places in our building to comply with the auction commission of SC. The items having no reserve were sold to highest bidder with no reserve. We do not control what an items brings. Further more we can not expect any electronics to bring what they would in a retail environment, because it is as is.  Anyone how would like to see how this process works feel free to come by we have a live auction with consignments every Friday at 530pm.

    Good  afternoon, 

    This is Ash S*******, representative of Prosperity Auction Company LLC, as I had said before we can not control what someone bids on an item. I have attached a copy of the sign that shows our bidders that everything is as-is with no warrantee. I am sorry that the customer is disappointed by what her items brought during the auction. If it would make her feel better about it I would be glad to take our commission off of the sale of said items. We must also keep in mind that during an auction setting the items get sold for whatever the high bid is, the auctioneer can not control what someone is willing to pay for a used item, that they have no guarantee on.
