    I had a referral to Mr. Wright to install security cameras at my home after someone tried to get in my house at 11:30 one night. I am a 71 year old recent widow so Mr. Wright came out & gave me an estimate in November 2022. He sent a young man to install the cameras. The gentleman did not install them where I asked, he said he was installing them where Mr. Wright told him too. You cannot see my front door at all. They asked for $450.00 cash, so I paid them and they said they would send a receipt. I had to call at least 5 times to get the receipt. The dvr didn’t work so they had to order another one & I waited 2 weeks, so the cameras were useless until the dvr was installed. The dvr has gone out numerous times and he always has an excuse not to come. I have tried to do all communication through text messages so I would have proof. They came in May & “fixed it”. The dvr stopped working almost immediately after they left. I can only see what is going on in real time, nothing is recorded & no notifications are sent to my phone. He promised to be here last week but never showed up & doesn’t seem to care about my safety. I told him if he couldn’t honor the warranty then come get the cameras & dvr and give me a refund. He will not answer my texts now. His number is ************. Please advise me as to what I need to do to get this corrected. I think I may have to get a security company, I don’t think I should just give him $450.00 for nothing, I found the same cameras & dvr on Amazon for $179.00( this was for 4 cameras & I only got 2).

    I am very sorry to hear this since there has been multiple communication and trips to this customers home to address her security issues.  This customer provided a camera system I would not have recommended however, assisted her with installation to her satisfaction.  Since it is an apartment complex, the location of the cameras is limited.  Ms. ******* called saying the cameras were not working and it was determined that the system was the problem and I assisted her in getting it replaced.  After that, she has said it's again not working.  Upon our arrival and inspection, it was working properly.  No further actions were necessary.  We are very concerned for our customer safety and always follow up and resolve any issues they may have.

    I left some things out of the rejection note. I did text Mr. Wright. On the initial installment the dvr didn’t work, so the tech asked me to pay the $450.00 cash and she would bring the new dvr when it came in. She installed it, but it would not record after she left, so I text them, she returned & told me to keep checking to make sure the correct camera ports were checked. They never stayed checked, so nothing was recorded. So I don’t understand where he came up with the figures he put in the response. If the cameras were $229.00 and installation was $100.00 he overcharged me $121.00 to begin with.

    BBB rep please contact me, Woody Wright, by phone ************ to discuss this.  It is getting out of hand.  I did not overcharge the customer.  As stated before, I have business expenses that are included in the price.  As the owner I have to purchase equipment, arrange labor, pay for gas, insurance, and in this case uninstall and reinstall equipment, etc. My invoice was fair considering cost of equipment, cost of labor, business expenses.  I feel she is unable to manage the settings or device so she will always be unhappy. I have offered to reimburse her $200 which is fair considering there were multiple trips to her home and it was more than a total loss for the business.
