Hello, The issue happened March 2nd. This is the first time I have ever felt the need to involve BBB in any customer service situation. The issue started almost immedietly at start of visit, I specifically told the sales person that I was interested in a hybrid but not an EV. We took a Niro for a test drive and again I asked if it was a hybrid and was reassured that is was by the sales person. 2. I expressed an interest in the car after driving it. She took my keys to have my car appraised and we sat down to discuss pricing. During a lengthy time waiting to get the data sheet I looked up the car online and found that it was listed at $41k but I was quoted $45k. After further discussion, I came to find out it was an EV not a hybrid. 3. Throughout the process I was clear I did not want a credit check until everything was verified on the price of the car as I have a budget I would like to stay within. I was reassured it would only be a soft inquiry and not a hard inquiry. This morning I received an email stating a hard inquiry had been completed for HHSC automotive. This is unacceptable! 4. I asked the sales person several times for my keys as I was not comfortable purchasing due to the discrepancy in pricing. At one point I even expressed that I felt I was being held hostage. I was then pressured into test driving a hybrid. I took it out for 5 minutes in hopes I could be done and get my keys. In summary I wasted 2.5 hours of my Saturday and drove away in my current car. My main concerns are 1. the hit to my credit check and 2. the time I wasted, it should not take 2.5 hours to test drive a car and get no where close to purchasing it. I would like *** to work with their credit check company to lift the inquiry. To note I did try and resolve this directly but I didn't receive a response to my email Thank you

We have several models of electric and hybrids. We apologize for the confusion on our end and know that the customer's time is important.  We are a no pressure organization and our customers satisfaction will always be our first priority. We did receive a credit application and then pulled credit. It is a hard pull. We have contacted the credit bureaus and have letters for the customer to sign and we will have the inquiry removed. We did not submit to any bank as an agreement had not been reached. We will be reaching out to the customer again to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

    Thank you,
